   Baked Oysters , then fried seafood platter and bread pudding. Very greasy and bread pudding as soft as an iron plate. Mistake on bill, charged $208 on credit card for $70. meal. Not a good experience. Have eaten at Lakefront, which is a nicer location.

   Would not recommend. Not worth the price at all. A $40 dish came with 2 pieces of asparagus. We were one group of maybe 5 tables, and the food took forever. My scallops came out cold. Service was SLOW and inattentive. 2 separate times we went to the bar to pick up our own drinks. Really disappointing experience for what’s supposed to be a high quality restaurant we went to for a birthday dinner.

   I am still in disbelief about what happened and how I was treated. First off we liked our waitress, but… We were a party of 6 for my friends birthday. It took quiet a while for the waitress to greet us, my friend(birthday girl) ordered a double shot margarita, I had a regular, she didn’t get two shots, I don’t even think there was a single shot in mine or hers. We all ordered, I ordered the Chefs special AppleJacks SeaBass with wild rice risotto. Everyone’s food came out but mine, I was asked what I ordered. When my meal did come out, it was not the Chefs Special, it was a grilled Sea bass with jambalaya and mash potatoes. I let my waitress know I didn’t get what I ordered but didn’t have time for them to make it at this point. The manager came over and whispered to me, he was going to comp my tequila-less margarita. I politely said no, you’re going to comp my $48 meal mistake, he said, but you are going to eat it, so I handed it to him. My husband’s Snapper Pontchartrain, it also was not good, the snapper was very dry/over cooked and the pontchartrain sauce had absolutely no crab in it. I have family in the restaurant business, this is not how to handle this situation. Unfortunately I would avoid the Landry’s in the French Quarter, there is much much better food at locally owned restaurants, and certainly better service. This manager needs some additional training or another line of work.

   It was great! Everyone was fantastic, and our waiter answered any questions we had. We were able to arrive and eat in about an hour before our ghost tour next door.

   This was a shockingly horrible experience. Business dinner for 6, waited 40 minutes after drink order with no drinks and no waiter for food order. We got up and left for another establishment. Very difficult to believe that’s actually a Landry’s!

    The manger was rude after I address her about a dish that wasn’t cooked the way I requested after not wanting to return it she also wouldn’t take my gift certificate for the food so we purchased the cold and unwanted food just to continue enjoying our trip . It wasn’t many people in the restaurant but service was so slow and took so long !! I would not recommend this restaurant I’ve had better service at the one in the woodlands and expected the same but was disappointed on the choice for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner
