   The ambiance was amazing but the food was mediocre for the price and we tried several different dishes at our table. The noise level was very loud and it was difficult to have a conversation without yelling so everyone around us was also talking louder than normal The service was very poor The waiter was way too busy trying to keep up with the demand and at least three times we had to ask the bus boy to find him We ordered a bottle of wine for dinner to share with our friends and it came after we finished our meal and ordered dessert to remind the waiter we were still waiting for it The attitude seemed to be that we are full of customers every week and don’t care about your complaints tonight.

   I had a wonderful beet salad, filet mignon cooked perfectly, my son had the goat cheese salad and short ribs plus a dessert..waitstaff were fantastic.

   Everything is always to an excellent standard. The only hiccup is we requested a table outside with our reservation and we didn’t get the table we wanted. We sat near the music which was great but very loud we couldn’t hear each other talk.

   My wife and I have annually enjoyed dinner at Lavender Bistro celebrating the anniversary of our engagement. This year was different solely because our waiter was so unsatisfactory: minimal attention; curt; oblivious for at least 15 minutes that our clean dinner plates, the cessation of the motion of silverware, and we were sitting back in our chairs, clearly signaled that we had finished our dinner and ready for learning about dessert or requesting the bill.

   It is beautiful there! We had a nice table on the patio and it was very magical. Our waiter was efficient, but not friendly. His helper was fantastic!

    Beautiful restaurant- try to sit outdoors if you can. High end wine list and lovely live music while you dine. Excellent service and a great menu.
