I had high hopes for this place however; the worst service I have ever received was from this establishment. I eat at high end restaurants frequently -and of all types. And even though the restaurant had only 1/3 of the tables occupied and numerous stuff people standing around, we were almost completely ignored, including by the wait person. Our friends were running late and so after a couple of cocktails and a bottle of bubbly, we left and we told our friends to meet us at Bourbon steakhouse across the street and we were greeted very warmly over there, as we always have been.

Nice place but service , welcome, care of client celebrating her birthday NON EXISTENT, very bad. Food was good and the entertainers, but the table service was very bad.

I celebrated my birthday party at L’Avenue, and really enjoyed it!!! Music is the best, food is so delicious .I’m very recommend this place. You’ll have unforgettable time! Will come back again.

L’Avenue is firstly a club and secondly a restauran and should be advertised as such. My partner and I saw Dover Sole on the online menu and thought “Oh,a French restaurant!” We arrived and walked down 19 stairs- a bit daunting for me and I was surprised there was no elevator. My knees are shot- suffice to say it was very difficult; but we were willing to continue and give L’Avenue a try. The wine was very good(Daou); the burrata salad was fresh; the Dover Sole was rubbery and over cooked. Extremely disappointing. We were also informed there would be a burlesque show that evening- I don’t have a problem with that. The music was too loud though and not very musical: just dead thump eurodisco/house/mess. Could be a great place in the right hands.

The food was good but the portions were a little smaller than I expected for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a speaker right behind us so it made talking to each other a little hard. But overall it was a cool place.

We went there in a party of ten for my daughters graduation. We were all amazed at how good the food was. Service was excellent also. I cant wait to go again.
