   We have eaten here a number of times previously. The dinner and brunch have always been excellent. Lately though the meals seem to be progressively worse. Last night (Christmas Eve) was not on par with previous meals. Our steaks were tough. We also ordered Lobster mac and cheese and when it didn’t arrive with the rest of the meal we asked about it. The waiter told us the original order was overcooked and needed to be remade. The “remade” mac and cheese was the worst we had ever tasted. It was grainy and seemed to be undercooked with little flavor. When cost of the meal is on par with Elway’s or Capital Grill you would expect the meal to be as good. On the positive side the mac and cheese was taken off our bill and our service was great. This establishment is near us and I do want it to succeed but if the meals continue to be this inferior we will go elsewhere. We will, however go back and give it one more chance. ‘

   Incredibly disappointing (returning customers who loved it previously). Waited 25 min for a drink (ONE bartender working on a super busy night-Old Fashioned was below ave), food was below average-steaks not cooked to order, mac and cheese was gritty, bolognese came out room temp. Definitely not staffed well for Xmas Eve. Will not return.

   I was excited to try this place and was unfortunately let down. Portions were really small for the price, service wasn’t the best and was server and almost expected to drink a “corked” bottle of wine.

   We came in on a whim on Christmas Eve Eve and it was a good experience! Our food was delicious (steak and ribs) and the service was great. We will come back!

   Mid-level steakhouse with not great service. They were busy, but that is no excuse to leave your customer sitting there with not even water.

   Truly the best place to eat in the north area. The staff is first class and the service is amazing. The food and specialty drinks are excellent!!

   The food was fantastic! French onion soup, steaks, sides, sauces, and carrot cake were all delicious, cooked perfectly, and beautiful presentation. Our booth was private and quiet. The only issue we had was with the wine list- wines by the glass were very expensive and no red zinfandels on the list, so I ordered a bottle - the only zin in the list, and they were out of it. So back to the wines by the glass, I asked to sample two that were most zin like and they were out of one so she brought me another that was twice as expensive. It was best but I’m not paying $24 for a glass of wine, and I feel like they should have offered it to me at the price of the other wine. I ended up having a beer…

    A crushing disappointment! We went for a birthday dinner and had stopped by a few weeks earlier to see the restaurant. Aesthetically, the restaurant is beautiful and I had high hopes. Those hopes were dashed the minute we walked in for our reservation. The place felt dead and soulless, not helped at all by the funereal Christmas music that was playing. It was seriously dirge-like and cast a pall over the room and evening. Zero energy & no sense of festivity, buoyancy or possibility. Then there was the service. Our waiter was an odd-duck whose vibe and approach were totally wrong for what Law’s aspires to be. He was both intrusive and inattentive, disappeared for long stretches, never offered a second cocktail when we’d finished our first and made no reference to the birthday I’d noted in our reservation. Finally, the food. It was fine, not great. Despite a fabulous menu and wine list, the food itself doesn’t remotely compete with the big-boy high-end steakhouses. To overcome the dreary ambiance and frustrating service, it needed to be great and it just wasn’t.
