Stacey Lawson and Paul Fields are not only delighted but thoroughly excited to announce the opening of their restaurant. Stacey and Paul sensed something was missing from the Lincoln dining experience. Paul had always had a passion to open up an independent restaurant and as a local girl Stacey recognised that although Lincoln is a historical City and a very dynamic and growing City, there was a clear need for a relaxed restaurant experience that combined history with modernity.

    Friendly welcome! Straight to our table. Drinks and food order taken right away (we had researched so knew what we were having!!) service was impeccable. Food was delicious and perfect lunch portion. Definitely would recommend and return

    Had several lunches at Lawsons but this was our first evening visit eating from the main menu. We had rib-eye steak and duck. Both were cooked to perfection. Service was prompt but we were not rushed. Overall excellent value for money. We will go there again

    In the middle of a busy Christmas weekend, we had a lovely relaxing meal. The food was delicious and the service very helpful. It was so nice to be able to look out of the window at a very festive Lincoln.

    Always consistent in every department. From the greeting to the departure. A few of our 'high end' hotel restaurants could learn from this delightful bistro.

    Lovely venue, rustic and authentic features and very nice and atmospheric. Excellent food, good quality ingredients and excellent service. In summer they have nice garden for al fresco dining. We always choose here is we want a nice dining venue to meet with friends

    Had a lovely meal at a great price. Service was great but the inky thing that spoilt it was were we were seated. Downstairs next to the steps down so we were cold and didn’t get the ambience that upstairs was getting. Would suggest asking people booking hat their seating preferences are. Especially elderly people like us that are then forced to climbs stairs to visit the toilets. Otherwise all was great and we will be back but will request seating next time.
