   We had our Annual Family Christmas Dinner at LA Colonial after a show downtown. The food was amazing - great menu, great wine/cocktail menu and the service was very good. The restaurant is very beautiful- it was a busy evening and I'm hoping to go back at a less busy time to really enjoy the ambiance. Our family loved the experience!

   I made a request on open table to not be seated by the doors. I have been seated by door before when using open table. We were seated by doors. Waited for another table to open- it did - so we moved. Food was fine. Service was ok. The to go bag leaked all over my daughters new boots while we were waiting for the valet. Ruined. Thanks. Valet system is archaic, it costs $10. Most places , including upscale are tip only these days. We will not be going back. Expensive meal and ruined $250 boots.

   Place has gone downhill. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. Wouldn’t be surprised if they bought from Sysco. The servers are mediocre some of them poorly trained and just rush you. This place used to be a fine dining experience with kind service and good food. Like with all chains, they increase the prices, lower the quality of the food and service, and pray that they’ll customers come back. Never coming back here again. So disappointed.

    Great return visit to Le Colonial Houston. I love dining here. The ambience is wonderful. The food is amazing. I had the seared yellowfin tuna this visit. It was stunning. Service is always excellent. Can't wait to return!!!
