Fries weren’t good. Breakfast tacos were very disappointing but the potatoes inside were delicious. The bacon and egg sandwich was good but boring, and half strip of bacon was burnt. The only delicious item was French toast but also burnt so badly that my wife had to cut out the crust and left only 70% of the toast that was considering edible.

Great restaurant, from the services to the ambiance to the food. We enjoyed! The bread and butter, stone salad, potatoes and pork and peas were delicious. Wine selection was unique and great prices for a bottle. All around reasonably priced dinner.

What a great experience. I have been to Heritage BBQ countless times, and was curious about this concept. It seemed impossible to get a reservation, as I think they are still working out the kinks in schedule as its new. The old school diner style was great, and definitely connected the dots with the style of food and service. The staff were all so nice and helpful in guiding choices, and the food was stellar. The blue corn sourdough from 1600 next door was really unique and perfect with the strawberry preserves. The fish taco was one of my favorites ive ever had (and coming from San Diego, I feel OC is lacking this big time). The Patty Melt was rich but so so flavorful and balanced with the brightness of the pickles. All in all, I loved it. Only thing I would tweak is to make the french fries crispy - flavor with the tallow was great, just texturally would have been nice to have some crunch!
