   We made a reservation for 2 people for the “experience” meal, $150 per person. Our booking stated that the price includes taxes and fees. This is not accurate. We still had to pay tax on top of our $300 bill. Not sure what the “fees” mean. Gratuities were extra, as expected. The food was excellent. Not sure if the grilled sea bream was worth $140, as I am not familiar with market prices for a sea bream.

   Amazing food. Very attentive wait staff. One of the best meals we have had in a long time. Classic bistro food.

   Tuna was cooked at medium rare, salmon was great. Oysters this late in season were still good. The service was not that attentive and the wine prices in wine/Champagne prices were over board. 3x the retail price for wine/Champagne is too much. But Poi’s Panche is known for high wine prices.

   The menu wasn't very appealing. I took le paysan and was surprised to see how different it was from previous years. No potatoes, just a rectangular fried potato. it arrived with a big portion of beans which we know is not expensive, and the sausage tasted awful. Additionally, it was the first time we were charged for jam, usually they offer bread, butter and jam but we had to pay 3$ for a small portion of jam. Finally, given that it was mother's day, and my mom's birthday, I would have expected a personalized touch to enhance my mom's experience. Last year, they offered a tulip for each mom but this year, there was nothing. I have noticed other restaurants in the area that were celebrating mother's day with a more personalized touch, I should have gone elsewhere instead.

   Hello Alexandra, We were very disappointed to read your review, but also glad that you wrote it because it pointed out some things we need to watch. We are in the process of revamping our brunch menu. Most dishes have been very successful. Others have split the vote and one or two still require tweaks. It's tough to nail everything on the first try. As for the sausage, it must've been a mistake. We haven't changed the recipe. The jams have been an extra on the menu for a few years now. They're all homemade. Our promise to our guests is that by the time we're done, you'll be able to enjoy the nicest Parisian-style "brunch chic" in town.    Always welcoming with professional Oyster bar and many of our favorite foods. Great wine selection. The Salmon, Canard confit, and French Onion Soup were perfect and among the best we have ever tasted!
