    Just a wonderful experience, sitting on the veranda on a perfect summer day, overlooking the beautiful flower garden and lake. Hugo, our server, was as good as it gets; knowledgeable, attentive, and accommodating. The food was delicious; who knew you could get such upscale fare at “Le Pub”. The beet salad was the best we’ve ever had. The complimentary homemade bread was fresh, warm, tasty, and had the perfect crunch on the crust. My halibut and the accompaniments were delicious. So as not to sound like I’m an easy mark when it comes to good food, the halibut was a tad overcooked (easy to do with halibut) but no complaints were made as it was still great. My wife loved the scallops. We were too full to order a dessert, but we took our tasty cocktails down to the garden area and finished the meal looking out at the lake and sipping on a good drink. Thanks to Hugo and staff for providing us with a memorable experience.

    I have to say that the service was irreproachable. Quick, courteous, full service team involved to make sure everything was right. Also, they even paced out the courses so as to properly enjoy the meal. Thank you for the extra touch & surprise sweets at the end to recognize my wife’s birthday. Very memorable & served with a beautiful smile. The setting outside on the patio overlooking the waterfront was serene. Definitely not your typical or conventional bistro/pub/tap-room setting. Menu wise, selection and offerings at that calibre of a hotel could have been better. However, what we did order, we enjoyed (mains not pictured).

    The place is beautiful, but we were very disappointed with the kitchen. We ordered the veal chops, and they brought 3 chops, it was even funny when we saw the plate, no more than 100 grmsof meat (it was te most expensive plate on the menu by the way). My wife ordered a veal carpaccio and a halibut and nothing special.

    Super bel endroit avec une table sur la terrasse face au lac, très paisible. Les portions sont généreuses, de qualité et savoureuses. J’ai adoré la salade d’endives et les gnocchis. Service impeccable. Merci

    Had the special sugar shack brunch and it was amazing. Food was amazing and service was even better. What an experience!
