   They ran out of Lobster, Sea Bass and Brussel Sprouts. There was a very long wait. The waitstaff were very pleasant and tried to make the best out of it, but it was an unfortunate first experience.

   The restaurant has a complete meltdown on Mother's Day. We had a 5:30 reservation, didn't get seated until 6:20. When ordering appetizers we were told they were out of clam chowder, so we switched to lobster bisque. Finally got around to ordering entrèes around 7pm, and only then were told they were out of all lobster based dishes. With 2 young children, we ended up leaving and eating burritos at home for Mother's Day. On the plus side, weren't charged for the oysters and drinks that arrived before we gave up We will never again try going here on a popular day.

   Sat down for dinner - 15 minutes Before some one acknowledge they were our waiter. Drinks came another 15 minutes later - we saw that they were slow so when the waiter wanted our appetizer order we gave him our whole order. 30 minutes after our drinks came out one of our appetizers was given to us - 20 minutes later our 2nd App came out - COLD calamari? After another 20 minutes we asked about our main dishes .. 15 minutes later we asked for the check and said we don’t want our meals - they appeared COLD - disappointing to say the least had gone one time earlier in the year for lunch it was fine - Mothersday it was apparent they were way in over their heads. To many large tables to serve at one time my guess —

   The service was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. We were at the table for 2 hours and barely saw our waitress. It took 15 mins for someone to greet us at the table and another 45 mins to an hour for all of our starters to arrive. We asked several times for someone to check on our main dishes but could not get an update. When it finally came out after sitting for two hours, it was cold or burnt. There needs to be new management before I return here. This was on Mother’s Day 2025.

   Excellent door and service Aden our server was the BEST. He checked on us regularly and made sure everything was perfect. This was my second time at Legal Seafood, I will be returning.

   Our waitress was wonderful however the service from the kitchen was not good. My husband and my daughter’s food come out cold. After waiting 20 minutes for the food when it finally came out their steak were overcooked. Instead of making new steaks the kitchen reheated what was already in their plates. We sent the food back again and I took over 20 minutes for the food to come out again. When it finally came out my daughter’s food was cold again and my husband’s was barely warm. The manager did take one of the meals off of the bill, however after waiting all that time the mood of our meal was ruined.

   Ice tea had no flavor just tasted like water. Everything seemed to be cooked in so much butter. Blackened catfish not very spicy/ flavorful.

   The view and room is beautiful. Our waiter very nice. Food was another story. We started with muscles cooked with beer and sausages. Not a good combo! I had seared sea bass which was not seared but seemed to have been slow cooked in olive oil until cooked through. Did not flake, almost mushy. Wife had seared tuna which definitely tasted old, maybe because we dined on a Monday, maybe because of the strange soy sauce mixture that our waiter suggested. We shall not return.

    Delicious meal. I ordered the famous crab cake, the world class clam chowder, and two half dozens of different New England oysters. Excellent quality. Unfortunately, service - although very friendly - was not knowledgeable about a key item on LSF menu. No clue about which oysters I had on the plate, and what origin. Also, had to remind them that half a dozen means 6 (not 5). Very strange how such a mistake could happen. I suggest that management retrains their staff on oysters 101. Otherwise a great dining experience.
