   When they removed Lemon caper grey sole from their menu I lost interest. But when I was scouting out restaurants for my birthday I saw that it was mostly back and, therefore, so am I. Choose seared sole with lemon and crispy caper sauce. Coupled with whipped potatoes and broccoli it is lovely. Sole is tricky so I only trust Legal and myself to cook it right.

   Here for a Valentine’s Day dinner. It’s been awhile since we have dined here. The menu has changed. Was hoping for scallops. But, the only way to get them is fried. Curious. The chowder didn’t seem as good as it used to be either. Ended up with Anna’s Cod by default, which I like. But, there’s nothing interesting about it. Seeing as I’m not a huge lobster fan, or lover of all the raw stuff, I couldn’t find anything else. No more baked stuffed shrimp. No more baked fisherman’s platter. Disappointing. My wife had the arctic char which she enjoyed. I used up my gift card and will not be rushing back, sadly. Been a loyal customer for over 50 years

   Food is always great at Legals. We ate at a table in the bar area so it was louder than the dining room but still not bad. Service was outstanding. Had raw oysters (clean and fresh) and lightly seared tune (sushi grade and wonderful). Sides were also great. A very nice Valentines meal.

   Past experiences made us go back, but this time, this time, it was poor. Drinks were not good, and the appetizers were good, but unfortunately, the main course was a fail. Tuna burger was fishy tasting and not the good kind, and the swordfish steak was undercooked basically raw in center.

   Been coming to Legal for many years. Quality is always great Sorry they took fish chowder off the menu I recently had shrimp scampi and found the sauce not very flavorful We always will go back, i will choose something Else

   A very friendly young man greeted me at the reception. I was seated at the bar counter exactly where I wanted in no time. The food was served very quickly, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and absolutely wonderful!

    Our Open Table reservation got us in quickly and we sat in a nice booth. We decided to try Legal’s new menu and the promotion for $1. cup of chowder with the purchase of an entree from the new menu. The wait staff did an excellent job and were very friendly. We both ordered the hot buttered lobster roll which was delicious and our choice of two sides. If you plan on visiting Legals often, I’d suggest signing up for the Legal Reward program. It’s well worth it.
