At Leña, the menu is guided by the most magical and mysterious ingredient in the kitchen: fire. Leña brings together the best elements of Spain’s favorite grill-focused restaurants, including the asadores and steakhouses of the Basque Country and Asturias. Nearly everything on the menu is cooked over embers, including vegetables, meats, and seafoods, with a focus on larger grilled cuts of meat, like suckling pig and lamb.

The porrón pitcher is a festive and communal way to serve a variety of Spanish beverages – hold it up and tip it towards you to drink a steady stream, then pass it along! Enjoy a bottomless porrón paired with our new brunch offerings throughout Little Spain. Brunch reservations are available Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Each reservation is 90-minutes, must include the purchase of an entree, and entire party participation is required. Remember – practice makes perfect! 🍻

This winter, join us for lunch at Leña to experience a specially-priced menu, featuring our favorite dishes. You'll be able to choose from tapas like our Croquetas de Jamón and Alcachofas con Romesco as well as filling main plates like our signature Txuleburger or Lubina a la Donostiarra. And of course, no meal at Little Spain is complete without Churros con Chocolate or our Tarta de Queso! Available Monday through Friday, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM for $45 per guest.

Went for the value priced lunch special Monday with some colleagues for first visit, had done the other vendors but we wanted a more formal sit down/ service experience. They pulled the lunch special due to “holiday” week, I’m assuming, and sharing menu was very expensive and awkward to navigate …. Would not recommend for groups

The food was not interesting and expensive, but the real issue was that the service was extremely slow. After waiting over 1.5 hrs to get all our food, the assistant general manager was very nice and did the right thing by comping our meal. The wait time was ridiculous considering that most of the food was not good. The grilled shrimp were completely unseasoned and lukewarm, the oysters that were far too small to serve, and the roasted veggies were ice cold. I ordered a boozy hot chocolate which is prominently featured on the drinks menu and after it didn’t come for 20 minutes, the waiter then said it would take a lot longer and offered me something else instead. At the end of our meal, we finally got the one appetizer we ordered! I would strongly not recommend going to Leña when there are so many other quality restaurants in New York.

I’ve been twice in the last month. Total crowd pleaser. Menu is great and the service is really solid. Totally recommend. Good for small parties and large groups.
