   We arrived expecting a wonderful Valentine’s Day/ Anniversary dinner. I ordered the pork chop and I was so disappointed! It tasted like it was cooked on a George Forman grill . It was so tough and hard to cut. The couscous was half cooked. It looked & tasted like it’d been sitting on the stove all day and left to dry out! Leone’s must be under new management. Poor management. I’ve eaten here many time in the past. However, this was the worst dining experiences ever! Needless to say we won’t be back.

   This was not our best visit - our table was not ready as requested, given we made this reservation a month prior. We were seated, and then had to move again by hostess due to server issues. She was friendly, but this was annoying given our original table request was not honored... All the food was fine and the server was friendly, she checked back and followed up on us.. Surprised that the Manager never stopped by given our issues and being regulars here and 456 Fish across the street. Hopefully our next visit is better or we'll move on...    We loved Leone’s! After reading through some reviews we ended up ordering the bruschetta as an appetizer, the salmon piccata and lobster fettuccini which were both fantastic were our entrees. We split the cannoli as it came with two and had an espresso to go with it. Our server Sam was very attentive and made great recommendations. The only minor thing was we had our Virginia stage company card to get 10% off which the server acknowledged but didn’t take off the bill. We didn’t push the subject though because the food was so good! We’ll definitely be back.

   AMAZING SHARK-COOCHIE BOARD! The specialty cocktails were inventive and DELICIOUS! The butter that they served with the COMPLIMENTARY BREAD was very yummy. The VEAL CHOP is worth the price, absolutely TO DIE FOR! Tiramisu was on point! And overall an amazing experience! Would highly recommend going here for a romantic night or for any occasion.

   Sam took care of us and watched the time so we were able to enjoy our time at dinner and still make it to the venue for our show. We have been to Leone’s several times and have always been happy. Tonight was no exception. Sam recommended a drink outside of my comfort zone and assured me I would enjoy it and he was right, it was delicious! The Bruschetta was lovely as were our three entrees ( chicken Marsala, sausage and broccolini, and the gnocchi). The only thing that was “off” was the sauce served with the meatballs, it was slightly over simmered to burnt. But the meatballs were good regardless. Not worth mentioning to the chef, perhaps just the pairing with my other food. Anyway, will not stop our coming back again!
