   Food was just ok for our whole group. Maybe the kitchen was having an off day. But, for the price point, should have been better.

   The waitress made the experience a not so good experience. Her nonchalant attitude killed the vibe. She acted as if me any my party shouldn’t have been there and we had every single right to be there. I mean we did come and spent over 600$ in the establishment. Her attitude was not welcoming at all, especially when it came to handling me and my guests.

   Our server Lauren was terrific. She was very attentive and sweet and made us feel so special. Great brunch!

   Overall this was a bright and cheerful selection to host my moms 80th birthday family brunch. It was a more sophisticated spot that felt different from the atmosphere on Broadway. Everyone enjoyed their meals and items we shared across the table. Our group was able to sit off to the side that allowed some privacy and we were able to take our time lingering over our meal. The view onto the park and walking distance from our hotel were perfect for a stroll down Broadway on the walk back.

   Table for 40th birthday booked for a party of 10 months in advance. Booked for 1.30pm. Not seated until 1.55pm due to previous booking overrunning and not leaving. Seated at table. Out of coffee due to unwell barista (it happens) and some of the food unavailable as it’s a busy Saturday. Food order taken, 90 minute bottomless drinks ordered. First drink arrived 2.20pm. 3.09pm told can no longer serve us because they have to close our check due to a private engagement party happening shortly. We were promptly given the check and asked to leave. Our waiter Ellen, on learning that we were seated very late after our booking was amazing and we loved her and tried to do everything she could for us, but the manager came over and essentially spoke to us like children, not even remotely wanting to understand the circumstance. She was rude and abrasive and it was just a really awful way to spend your 40th birthday. Cheers Liberty Common.

   The venue had character but it was pretty dirty. Floors were dirty. Dead plants all over. Fine was fine. Service was TERRIBLE. We bussed our own table and it took at least 10 minutes anytime we asked for anything. It was not super busy, the waitress was just talking to the bartender the whole time. Disappointing.

    Always a pleasure dining at Liberty Common. Our server Alison was lovely and professional. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is perfect for dining as a group or as single. Whether you are in the mood for brunch or lunch, you will leave happy and you will be counting the days until you can go back!
