Libre is a dessert bar and cocktail lounge in Portland, Oregon, where freedom bleeds from mezcal cocktails to mole desserts. Walk in and leave your troubles at the door, and experience a world of dreams coming true.

Our pastry chef, Gabriella Martinez, creates fantastical desserts with components ranging from corn husk meringue to bone marrow caramel. Meanwhile, our bar director, "Nan" Chaison, crafts innovative cocktails, including a mezcal-based mole milk punch.

The moodily lit, flower-adorned space with purple velvet banquettes provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening.

    There is no better bar with no better proprietor than Libre. A perfect place for some of the best mezcals and some of the best desserts in the city. A creative vibrant space with warm and fun people.

    The ladies of Libre do a very fine job of providing a great, fun experience in a lovely environment. The food is impeccable. While the desserts steal the show (and rightly so), the snacks are no joke. Order the whole menu and split it with your friends. You won't be disappointed. I've been there numerous times and it's always a stellar experience. Highly recommended!

    We got together with friends for a Tuesday evening birthday celebration at Libre, and it was a wonderful place for a midweek celebration. The food was incredible, the cocktails felt special and the service was stellar. Gabriella has created something beautiful and special in the heart of SE PDX! Can't wait to go back.
