   I recently dined at Lilac at The Edition, and while the experience had some incredible highlights, there were also a few disappointments that kept it from being a five-star experience. First, the service was absolutely outstanding. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make the evening special. The ambiance was effortlessly romantic—elegant, intimate, and perfect for a special occasion. As for the food, it was a mix of highs and lows. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and flavorful. The desserts were also a standout—beautifully plated and delicious. However, some of the seafood dishes missed the mark. The octopus tentacle and scallops were unfortunately overcooked, which was disappointing given the price point and reputation of the restaurant. Speaking of price, while I expected a premium cost for a fine dining experience, the value didn’t quite align. A dinner that exceeded $500 should have been flawless, and the inconsistencies in execution made it hard to justify. On top of that, having to pay $40 for valet due to an event at the nearby arena added to the frustration. Overall, the service and atmosphere alone made it a good experience, but the food’s inconsistencies and the additional costs took away from the overall value. I wanted to give it a five-star review, but given the price and a few misses in execution, I’d say it’s more of a 3.5 to 4-star experience. I hope to return and see improvements because the potential is definitely there.

   Service was great, but the food was incredibly subpar. We’ve eaten fine dining and Michelin star many times and this did not live up to our standards. Food was cold and bland. Cocktails were not good. Wish we had picked a different place for Valentine’s Day dinner.

   Certainly the place is expensive BUT the food and the service worth it. Lilac’s service made us remember the old good times when we used to go to restaurants without being harassed by the servers (what is happening today is not their fault though). My wife and I had the opportunity to enjoy our conversation, enjoy every course of the menu, the crew from the door until the moment we left was cordial, attentive, respectful. If you really want to enjoy an amazing dinning experience with your significant other, this is the place to go. Lilac lives to the expectation of a Michelin Star restaurant, definitely highly recommended

   Service was the best I’ve had ever. Everyone was very nice and professional. The restaurant is beautiful. Food was ok, not the best not the worst. Wine selection was outstanding. Overall a very nice experience but wouldn’t go twice.

   My sister was visiting from New York, and Lilac was our first stop. She loved the food. I was equally impressed by how each dish felt both fresh and comforting. I’ve been here a few times, yet there’s always something new that excites me. I’m not quite sure how they manage it, but I know a great restaurant when I see one. Beyond the food, the ambiance was just right. The service remained impeccable even at the busiest times. It’s clear a lot of smart work goes into maintaining such high standards. I feel fortunate that there’s a place like Lilac right here in Florida.

    This was one of the best or possibly the best dinner I have ever had. Everyone in our party (4 people) ordered something different and we all loved the food. Great service and decent sized portions.
