   Food is amazing. We had the Tuna Steak and Lomo Saltado. Both were amazing! Bread amazing. Drinks very good. No complaints!

   The service was 10/10. Regarding the food, we had other expectations. We eat the “chef’s specialty” for that week, a pork chop. What arrived at the table was something crazy! The chop was exaggeratedly large; it seriously stuck out from the plate! When I tried it, I felt like I was eating a chicken from a Chinese restaurant! I had a hard time appreciating the chop; all I could taste was the thick batter covering it, which was fried. And for $49! I was very sorry about that! My lomo saltado was a little salty, but overall, it was good! (I was able to eat it). If you ask me if I would go back? No… I’d rather try other places. And to top it off, they have no consideration for the locals! You pay just like a tourist…

   By far our favorite restaurant in Aruba. A lot of restaurants tend to be tourist traps..but this was not one. The presentation matched the taste. My wife had the Lomo saltado which was amazing!  I had the short ribs which with the yucca purée, which was also delightful. Lastly, we had the French toast dessert, which was freaking amazing! Highly recommend. I wanted to go again tonight, but my wife said I was doing too much.

   So bummed! The reviews made us think this place was going to be awesome but unfortunately that was not our experience. Some of the food was significantly undercooked and waitress tried to argue with us that it was the “chef’s choice” as to how to cook certain seafood that day. We also had no bread brought out until 1/2 way through our meal and service was so slow that my drink sat empty for 20-30 minutes. Cute place- manager was friendly and tried to make it right but would definitely never return.

   Decided to stop at Lima Bistro on our first stay in Aruba. We felt rushed, however, after the hostess seated us. The appetizers we ordered came out immediately after the bread was served. In general, our server seemed rushed, looking at her watch and not really wanting to engage with us or even enquire if we had questions about any of the items on the menu. The food was uniformly outstanding, but the service detracted from our overall experience.

   Lima bistros food was amazing and service was exceptional. They made me feel extra special on my birthday. I would highly recommend dining here!

   Lima never disappoints. The food was delicious as always. I tried a special appetizer consisting of grilled scallops and Gruyère cheese in a bechamel sauce, it was fantastic. Then I had the tuna steak which is one of my favorite dishes here. It was cooked perfectly! Unfortunately, I did not have room for dessert this trip but the Mescalinda cocktail was a great finish to the meal.

    Na jaren van positieve ervaringen nu een hele slechte. Ik bestel vaker alleen een aantal voorgerechten die normaal netjes na elkaar komen. Maar nu werden ze in eerste instantie in 1 keer uitgeserveerd. Toen ik er iets van aangaf gingen er twee terug naar de keuken, maar niet in alle vriendelijkheid. Nog geen minuut later kwam de volgende serveerster en die wilde weer de derde gerecht uitserveren. Coordinatie ontbrak volledig. Als je een fles wijn bestelt dan drink je die toch niet in 10 minuten leeg? Ook sommige gerechten waren qua samenstelling veranderd, maar niet ten goede. De vis in de Crudo was taai. Overal gebakken aardappeltjes tussendoor gooien is geen toegevoegde waarde. In mijn beleving is de kwaliteit sterk afgenomen. Heel jammer.
