   One of the best culinary experiences we have had in our most recent two week visit to London. This Lima Shoreditch , like the other Lima sites in Fitzrovia and Covent Garden, is simply yet elegantly designed and decorated, in the beautiful five star Sun Street Hotel. The food was outstanding as was the service. Standouts were the gamba and tuna tiradito, the duck croquettes , the homemade bread , the beef saltado and the sea bream. The chocolate dessert was also very good.

   Awesome Peruvian food. Great flavour combos. Friendly service in a lovely dining room. Lunch, at £36 for 3 courses is superb value too.

   Had dinner with 4 at Lima Shoreditch on Saturday November 9th 2024 and it was a wonderfull experience ! The food was delicious with authentic flavors, the location is beautifully and tastefully decorated and above allo : their "maître d'hôtel" is outstanding! He is present without being present, notices everything and has an extreme eye for detail... A pleasure to see motivated and highly qualified staff at work ! Definately worthwhile the trip if you are in London!

   Beautiful restaurant and hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Brough my girlfriend for her birthday and is was really special. Andrea was extremely nice. I wish that tuna tartare was slightly bigger because it was really good. Will definitely return.

   Firstly the restaurant isn’t in Shoreditch. It’s in Moorgate. Ambience at the restaurant was lacking. The decor was new but dated and felt cheap. The lighting wasn’t good. The service was slow. It took about 45 minutes to take food orders despite it being quiet. The snacks: duck croquettes didn’t taste of duck, just potatoes and had no texture in the middle. The mushroom tortillas - cold dish - were too cold and lacked taste. The mains, lamb chops lacked flavour and were very small. They were incredibly underwhelming. The fried rice and aubergine again lacked punch. The side of broccoli has the most flavour, which says a lot. Between 4 we had 4 snacks to begin with, a main each and 6 sides. We came away hungry. Turned down desert after an absolutely underwhelming dining experience. The price points are also way off. The mains are approximately £35 per plate, sides £7 and starters £20. The food and environment wouldn’t live up to a price point of half this.

   Very underwhelming, some tasty elements but beer was cold, octopus inedible, cerviche had no seasoning. Early days but not sure I’ll be rushing back.

    Loved it. Have eaten several times at Lima Cantina in Covent Garden always enjoyed it so was keen to try this new one. It's inside the Sun Street Hotel which seems to be a really nice boutique hotel - quite tempted by the idea of eat and sleep! The food was great and service fast, friendly and professional. Our server Fabiana was brilliant. It's a bit of a stretch calling it Shoreditch, it's much closer to Moorgate, but that takes absolutely nothing away from the quality and enjoyment of a really good meal. Totally recommended.
