   I went to dinner for my birthday, the server was rude in the 2 hours I spent in the restaurant I didn’t get checked on once , the food was bland , vegetables undercooked and under seasoned bland lamb chops , overcooked chicken . The service was so bad here the table next to me walked out on their their check . I’m a one and done kinda guy I won’t be coming back here .

   Honestly I wish I could give a good response but I can’t. Came here to celebrate my sons bdays and an engagement proposal. Started off well. Received appetizers in a timely fashion. Then all fell apart. Service never attentive and we never received our entrees. The food we did receive was good but that’s where it ends. Spoke with the manager and still didn’t get any attention. Worse experience in all my life! Definitely don’t recommend!!

   We have been to Lamonte two or three times before and have really enjoyed it so we were looking forward to this dinner. We had a beautiful view from our window table on the second floor for our party of four. The mezze was a delicious way to start our meal. the Greek wine was very good, although you were out of several varieties. We enjoyed the shrimp saganaki lamb chops and moussaka as our dinners. The three lamb chops were three of the best lamb chops I have ever had.. thick-cut cooked to perfection with delicious flavor. They were worth the relatively high price. We also enjoyed the praline phyllo pistachio dessert and our friend had a little sample of lavender gelato which was delicious. Quite a memorable meal. to mention an area of improvement it was rather crowded and a bit noisy.

   Fantastic dinner! Michael was an excellent server for our first visit. He obviously was well versed in menu offerings and preparations and extremely helpful in our selections. He never steered us wrong, suggesting options and pairings. He knew exactly what we needed and really made our experience a great one. Can’t wait to come back!

   I was very excited to try Limani as my first dinner in DC. I unfortunately was very disappointed. I’m not much of a food critic, or a reviewer so for me to write this is quite a statement. We ordered the $96 fish for two special which was the black sea bass. Unfortunately I found about 10 pick bones in my less than 1 lbs. serving. I couldn’t take a bite without having to take one out of my mouth. The greek fries and expensive drinks, not memorable. To me having that many bones, means the service has no idea what they are doing. Overall, unfortunately, not memorable to me. I do not recommend.

   I've been her twice, once for dinner and another time for brunch. I will say both were great experience, and delicious greek food. Our family ia Greek, and the food is best and definitely worth it and a piece of Greec in DC.

    We were celebrating Aries birthday and entertaining out of town guests. This experience was a perfect end to a beautiful weekend. Food was delicious. Drinks were well balanced and the spot is beautiful.
