   The service was so slow and we got the wrong food delivered to us twice. They also put down plates and after we said it was wrong they put it down on someone else's table

   The food was fine, but the service was poor. Our server was pleasant and polite, but the overall service was mystifying. One member of our party ordered a wagyu burger and fries. The fries inexplicably came out 15-20 minutes before the burger. When we mentioned that disconnect, our server offered another batch of fries when the entrees were actually served, which we appreciated. However, there were several other problems once the entrees arrived. First, the wagyu burger was supposed to come with caramelized onions but didn't, which led our friend to wonder whether she'd actually gotten the wagyu version. The rest of us had entrees that required silverware, but neither silverware nor napkins had yet arrived. We were seated outside -- which was very pleasant -- but eventually I had to go inside to request silverware and napkins, noting that it would be nice to have them before our food got cold. This was my first visit to Lincoln and I'm hoping our experience was aberrational, but I doubt that I'll go back to find out.

   They charge you a surcharge and unless you read fine print on menus about eating undercooked food you will miss it. When I asked the manager about this fee, she said it’s just what they do. We were 4 people who all got entrees and drinks but they charge everyone a surcharge. It seems weird to me, especially because according to the manager it is not a tip for the kitchen staff or for the waiter just a charge for the privledge of eating there. When I asked that difference between this and raising their prices by 3.5%, the manager walked away. Just want everyone to be aware of this…

   Ordered the Steak Frites. Description was a filet, but I believe I got a strip steak instead. It was still good, but I don’t typically order a strip steak. Fries were very good.

   What a great place for a casual lunch! The food was excellent, the servers were attentive, and the restaurant comfortably decorated. Their Restaurant Week lunch pricing made it very affordable too.

   Smaller portions than we had had elsewhere. Tasty but just felt needed a little more. Need to increase cocktail menu choices too!

   Food was delicious. I started with the fried zucchini, shrimp and grits and ended the night with smores sundae. It was delicious.

   Said is an amazing server who understands the clients very well and very kind and compassionate. The place is nice, very nice. The Brussels sprouts are amazing, but the NY steak was not the best. Still had a wonderful time.

    Food is usually very good but this time just okay. Like many downtown DC restaurants, Lincoln has been on the decline the past couple of years. Was hopeful that a Valentine's Day Dinner would be special but sadly disappointed.
