   I actually reserved this place by accident as I did not know that Ling & Louies's had a second location. I am glad I did because this was a good choice for New Year's Day lunch. Our server, Ashlyn, did a very good job of keeping us fed and watered. My Spicy Jeweled beef was really tasty with just the right amount of heat and the presentation was most creative. My husband enjoyed his Shanghai Shrimp & Scallops. He was pleased that the tails were removed from his shrimp. The menu between the Boise location and the Meridian location don't seem to differ much. The food was tasty and the view of the Boise River and the greenbelt pathway are always a plus. However, the view is not enough to get me to drive from Nampa to this location; it is good to know that a good restaurant is again available at this spot on the river for when I am already in Garden City.

   Really good food! We had the eggs Benedict - great flavors with an Asian twist. The view of the Boise River was gorgeous.

   My daughter and I celebrated her birthday with an early lunch at your location on the river. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was so good. We shared a little and Amy got her birthday dessert, a flour-free chocolate cake with ice cream, berries, whipped cream and it was such a big hit. We're both gluten-free diners so this was a brilliant end to a lovely meal. Thank you!

   Such unique design and decorating. Really warm and comfortable. Beautiful views of the Boise river. Delicious chopped salad. It was very fun to choose desert by using a ViewMaster. Great service with a smile. I always appreciate that.

   Our server Jeri was over the top fantastic. We ordered the appetizer tower and every single item was incredible. And the value was really good. We also shared the orange chicken and two sushi rolls. Each item was better than the last. I loved this place.

    Mediocre food and service. My plate of General Lings Chicken was literally served with over half of the plate covered with diced red peppers, way too much! When I complained to our server she said “ oh yeah, we put a lot of vegetables in that dish”.
