   I recently dined at this restaurant, and while some aspects of the experience were enjoyable, others were deeply disappointing. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal—both the French onion soup and the frites were excellent. However, the entree, the Dover sole, was an absolute disaster. It was flavorless, dry, bony, and had an overwhelmingly fishy taste. I’ve had Dover sole many times before, and this was by far the worst. Honestly, a Filet-O-Fish from McDonald’s would have been a far better choice. Service also started off on the wrong foot. Waters were not refilled, leaving me feeling like I had to ration what little I had, as if I were in a desert. Adding to my disappointment, I came to this restaurant after seeing an advertisement on Instagram for their steak, which was also listed on their online menu. However, when I arrived, not only was the steak unavailable, but it wasn’t even listed on the menu inside the restaurant. It’s incredibly frustrating to see a dish advertised so prominently online, only to find it’s not being offered at all. While the appetizers showed some promise, the entree, service, and misleading advertising made the overall experience frustrating and disappointing. I hope they address these issues moving forward.

   The service was great as was the food. I always enjoy the French onion soup (it is super cheesy)...my dinner guest order a red wine recommended by our server...his last sip at the end of his meal left him with a mouth full of sediment that surely was an awful ending of good meal. The server happened to witness his displeasure, apologized profusely and deleted it from the bill...I'm likely to go back, will check my red wine before drinking.

   Wanted to reach out to let you know that last nights dinner at little sparrow was delicious! It was my first time there and I enjoyed every bite! We went for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. I did, however, have a complaint. The service was horrible. Especially for an establishment like yours.  Coming from a background in the hospitality industry for more than 25 years and being in every position from cook, to bartender, server, and manager I know how hard the business can be. However, the server was never around. We had to ask for drinks from 3 different people, it took us asking 3 different people to bring us bread. She only came 3 times in the 3 hours we were there. I asked for coffee and it was brought after dessert was done and the coffee was cold. She was kind we really thought the experience was going to be good and we were suprised that she was not attentive at all.  Even when we had to pay at the end of the evening, we had to ask another server and she then had the hostess to take care of it. Very disappointing.  I was looking forward for our visit and unfortunately it was not what we expected.

   It's one of the best French restaurants I've ever been to. Everything was amazing. The service was excellent. I wanted to order everything on the menu!

   Wonderful experience (with the exception of the extraordinarily loud ladies next to us). The food was out of this world. Highly recommend the soup, salad, raclette frites, and Dover Sole! Haylee was our server and she was energetic, informative, and such a pleasure!

   The food was delicious. We shared a take on surf and turf (the scallops and the steak). The scallops were by far the highlight of the meal. We shared two desserts, thinking they would be small (the tart tatin and the basque cheesecake), but they were hearty portions. It's a great date night or special occasion spot.

   The staff is welcoming, and the service is top-notch. Red Sparrow has become our new go-to place for Sunday night suppers. We like the limited choice of meals for dinner because there are no surprises and the food quality is consistent. We wish there were a wider selection of wine by the glass and more ice cream or sorbets as alternatives to richer desserts. A light finish would be desirable. But you’ll be seeing us at least once a month. We love your place.

   Our server was GREAT and we liked the place. My date enjoyed her chicken dish but my sausage specialty dish was SO SALTY I only had a few bites.
