Helmed by Executive Chef Bob Ryan, Little Sparrow is a neighborhood "continental" restaurant from Ford Fry. Inspired by Parisian bistros and Brooklyn’s favorite taverns, Little Sparrow picks up the mantle from its beloved predecessor, JCT Kitchen and Bar to serve the Westside in a new incarnation. Named in honor of superstar French chanteuse Edith Piaf (Fry’s Howell Mill Road steakhouse, Marcel, is named after Piaf’s lover, boxer Marcel Cerdan) the menu presents timeless Brasserie classics and simple, indulgent fare including an entire section dedicated to extraordinary "Frites." Dinner is framed by a top-flight cocktail program and a superbly curated wine list, as well as tableside service meant to make every guest feel pampered.

    My husband and I celebrated our anniversary. From the moment we entered we were greeted and the team congratulated us, and the thoughtfulness didn’t stop there. We had the pleasure of meeting Briana who welcomed us and walked us through the menu (from small plates to entrees and sides). The menus even had sweet messages related to love and our anniversary. The food was spectacular! We shared the Aleppo shrimp (AMAZING!!! The perfect spice level and balanced with citrus), clams (my husband loved!), jasper hill harbison (super yummy!! And paired perfectly with the sourdough). Another honorable mention is the légumes de saison (vegetables the way they are meant to be prepared! Such a variety of flavor and cooking techniques, including perfectly roasted root vegetables). To end the evening on the sweetest note, Briana hand wrote a card for us celebrating our love. Thank you, especially, to Briana, and the entire L. Sparrow team!

    Love this restaurant! Food and service are excellent. Only complaint is that our table was right underneath a speaker which made it nearly too loud to talk to our friends.

    Fabulous French food. Great staff. Venue was a little dark, and the people next to us were very loud (no fault of the restaurant). The Dover Sole was the best. A lot of fish in a wonderful sauce. The Jasper Hill Harbison was also outstanding. The french onion soup and the La Vie en Rose were good - the latter might have even bit a bit too rich. The fries were out of this world. And the soft serve ice cream with toppings made a nice finish.

    I had the pleasure of dining at Little Sparrow recently, and I have to say that the highlight of the evening was the exceptional service provided by Sam. From the moment we were seated, Sam was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. Sam’s recommendations were spot on—each dish was better than the last, and they took the time to ensure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. They balanced professionalism with warmth, creating a relaxed yet upscale dining experience. It’s rare to find a server who can elevate an already great meal, but Sam did exactly that. If you’re visiting Little Sparrow, do yourself a favor and ask to be seated in Sam’s section. You won’t be disappointed!
