   A delicious leisurely lunch served by friendly and engaging staff made the visit special. I would definitely recommend if you enjoy flavoursome food and relaxed dining. My friend who shared it with me said she would award it more than 10 out of 10 !

   I love this place. Inventive tasty small plates served in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. It's my go-to for taking folk out for lunch. The staff are all welcoming and helpful and the carefully curated playlist is as inventive as the food. The drinks list is small but also well curated. Stand-out dish this visit was the mussels, removed from their shells and served in a piquant tomato broth with orzo and fennel. The fabulous blue cheese croquettes have been taken off the current menu but our lovely waitress said they'd be back. I will also be back

   Just wonderful. Everything was fabulous and perfectly balanced (food, service, the lot!) Am very pleased that the Southside has such a quality restaurant. Will be back!

   First time at Lobo but I wasn’t impressed. I know it gets great reviews but in my opinion they are not deserved. Limited menu and served as a kind of tapas to share. Dishes were expensive and small, lamb kofta was 3 small skewers (between two) and at certain points all we had in front of us were potatoes. The fish dish also amounted to two mouthfuls each which came after we had finished everything else. I was disappointed and felt for the money we spent it was not good value.

   The cooking is accomplished - a first look at the menu might lead you to conclude it’s basic, but far from it. The lightness, the complexity of flavours, the layering of textures and the inventiveness of the kitchen make for something much more sophisticated than expected. We found ourselves trying things we might not have otherwise ordered - just to see what the kitchen did with the ingredients. Impressed. Katie served us with a friendly and informal manner and did a good job. I’d say there’s a slight disconnect between the premises and the food - just a little more polish on the look of the place would help; the artwork for instance and not seeing a toilet from one’s seat, these things jarred slightly with the high standard of the kitchen. But what a find for this area - we will return.

   Fantastic neighbourhood restaurant, the menu always offers creative dishes around meat/veggies and fish, everything works well and the portions are very generous. Good choice of wines too, eventhough the list is not too long and changes regularly. Finally the service is very friendly and we always feel welcome. This is the best restaurant on the Southside.
