   Enjoyed Thursday night burger special with Lobster tail, delicious food and fantastic friendly service. Lovely ambience sitting in window seats and people watching. Highly recommend.

   The prawn pil pil starter was nice but not the tastiest prawns. The tuna poke starter was really good. The bread could have been nicer, no taste of sourdough. The sharing plate of Dover Sole was very good, came with two tasty sides, al dente green beans and french fries. The highlight of the meal was the apple tarte tatin dessert which we shared. Why are more restaurants only providing salt & pepper on request? The dishes required seasoning, especially the fish. The room got very noisy when full and very hot, maybe less heating? The staff were lovely. For a meal that cost over €200, with wine but without service charge, we were disappointed overall and expecting more after reading other reviews. Perhaps if you order the burger, lobster roll and other lower priced dishes it is a neighbourhood place worth going back to.

   This is an absolute gem! The best lobster roll you can have in Dublin but overall the food (from starters to desserts) is incredible and amazing. Small, cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Could not recommend this restaurant enough

   Lobstar is a small gem of a Restaurant. Excellent from its very first days. Owned and run by a delightful couple with great, efficient and most friendly staff. They excel in wonderful Fish dishes. We enjoyed on this occasion a delicious Starter of Tuna Poké Bowl, followed by a whole Black Dole on the Bone to share 👌
