In Provence, a region in southeastern France, “Lou Pécou” is the term for the peduncle, or stalk, that holds a cluster of fruit. Our grandparents taught us that when in the kitchen, you must start with the freshest and finest of ingredients. They had a unique way of feeling and picking lou pécou, to know if the fruit and vegetable is local, ripe, and fresh. Always a great experience at Lou Pecou! Such great food and service. It’s a friendly local spot that is a real gem! The chef Cedric and manager Kara are so great!

Marvellous service & delicious food. We were able to order off menu for cocktail of our choice. The ambience is exactly what you wish for an upscale neighbourhood eatery - it feels special and I enjoyed being inspired by what others have ordered upon arrival and participating in the effect as the evening progressed. Menu seemed small at first but felt expansive once you spent a minute with it and the many ingredients. Well laid out and each dish is complimentary to the next course.

Pizza was burnt. We were told to scrape it off. Salad had no taste. Overall, I would not go back.

Let me address your concerns. Regarding the salad, you requested the removal of two ingredients from a four-ingredient dish, which altered its original composition. Regarding the pizza, I can confirm it was prepared to our usual high standards. If you found a part too dark, our team immediately offered to remake it. Our server never suggested scraping off anything, as this is not reflective of our service. As for the goat cheese, it’s an award-winning artisanal product, highly regarded both nationally and internationally. It is not a blue cheese or anything similar. As a small local business, we take great pride in supporting our community and providing top-tier ingredients. It’s disappointing to see a review that seems aimed at damaging our reputation rather than constructive feedback.

We popped in last minute, not knowing they serve brunch. What a pleasant surprise, I enjoyed the best omelette I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to go back soon. Thanks, Chefs!

The ambiance is super, relaxed yet stylish. The food (and Caesar drink) so good. (I had the pizza with pork belly, bococcino, dried apple slices and kale that was not over nor under cooked). Service perfect. No need to strain to hear our conversation. I took a friend here for a birthday celebration. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back!
