Chef Frank Bonanno dug into his Sicilian heritage and east coast roots to create this authentic, rustic Italian eatery. Luca has amazing personal touches from the daily made breads and pastas to the meats and cheeses cured in house, to the charcoal drawing of Bonanno’s son (and the restaurant’s namesake) that hangs in the dining room. Luca is heartwarming and satisfying from the wood-fired pizzas to the hand-rolled pastas to the perfectly seared proteins. It’s not your ordinary pile-of-pasta-and-sauce Italian joint; it’s the real (and tasty) deal.

Luca was magical. They staff was so kind and attentive. The food was 10/10. They use unique and strong flavors to add a unique twist on classic pasta dishes. Truly my new favorite place.

We were the last table on a Tuesday night and you would have thought we were the first table on a Saturday night. From the complementary Prosecco to the fantastic Charcuterie board to the even better pasta(I’m from the east coast and it’s great pasta) Cat our server was the best.

Luca feels like a comfortable neighborhood Italian spot with good food and friendly service. No real complaints from our experience and it was definitely good enough for us to want to come back again.

Great food. We had burrata, salame, Luca salad and lobster pasta. It was all fantastic. Staff was all helpful friendly and kind.

In a time when restaurants struggle with consistency, good service, and even just keeping staff on site, a trip to Luca is such a restoration of faith in great service, phenomenal food, and a great experience. The atmosphere was lively but not chaotic in this recent visit (have dined there more than 30 times). A warm and cozy fire pit option for waiting or even eating outside decompresses the crowd waiting to eat. despite the packed restaurant, ever single one of the staff were good humored, pleasant and the consummate professionals. As alway, the food was perfect. This is the best burrata i’ve eaten around the world and the wild mushroom fusilli remains a gold mine. thanks to Frank and jacquline and the entire crew for such a wonderful evening. again.
