   Weren’t sat in the main restaurant, so there was no ambiance. Sat for ages waiting to be served, asked a waitress who looked at me and walked off! Food was just ok. Shame as we’d been before and it had been lovely.

   Sat outside and was still attendee to well also offered to change seat if cold. Food came out timely and was delicious

   Beautiful food. Beautiful seating area ( sat outside). Only one issue was that we did not receive one of our sides. Will always go here for food in York as we have never been disappointed. Staff are always pleasant and accommodating.

   Food excellent however as a venue for a relaxing place to eat and get together with friends I will not be returning due to feeling rushed threw out our stay being constantly reminded we had to move on in so many minutes We were offered coffee and told we had to leave in 25 minutes however coffee took 10 minutes to arrive so we were rushed They need to give more time between sittings and not rush customers I would rate overall experience as average. Disappointing

   We visited York for the weekend and was very much looking forward to visiting Lucia last night however the whole evening was a complete disappointment and we were not the only table who I heard making comments about poor service. Firstly, we were kept waiting too long for our order to be taken, I was brought the wrong starter, the other three people in the party ordered mushrooms for starters which were cold and had to be returned. We then waited another hour for our mains which again were cold. For dessert we ordered sticky toffee pudding which again was served stone cold. Extremely disappointed and I won’t be returning again.

    While the food was absolutely beautiful and our waiter was incredibly friendly, our experience was overshadowed by the behaviour of the host who seated us. Despite informing the restaurant in advance that we would be bringing a pram, the host was rude and unaccommodating. She made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in the restaurant with our baby.
