   Excellent service by our waitress Liz. We had a party of 5 for lunch. My Salmon w/ butternut risotto was awesome. Husband had the short ribs which he said he would order again. Another person had the fried chicken & mashed potatoes and for someone who does not eat much, loved and finished every bite. Our other two guest had the avocado & chicken sandwich perfectly done and the last guest had the clam& pasta dish. Everyone enjoyed their meals and will return.

   I requested the only table by the fire place. When we arrived there was a group sitting at the table. There was a reserved sign on the table to the left by the window. I did find out from the group they did not reserve their table. Not sure why they offer to make a reservation if they are going to ignore it. Other than that the food and atmosphere was fantastic.

   Staff is always friendly and provide excellent service. The food tastes fresh and good portions are served. One of my favorite places in Jackson, CA.

   I eat to taste, I don’t eat just so I can fill my stomach. I think of food as a treat. The restaurant is quite nice for it being in a small downtown. The servers were really nice. The food was presented well. However, the taste and quality of it is not worth the price. I’ve been to restaurants that are very pricey, I’ve also been to restaurants that are affordable and most of the time, their food is as good as expected or beyond my expectation. This time wasn’t. But overall, it was a good visit, good service, very short waiting time and food was just okay.

   This was our first time to Luka's and will not be the last! We were very impressed with the food, service and ambiance of the wonderful restaurant! The Valentines menu was well done and had a great variety of main courses to choose from! Each dish was outstanding and very well prepared. If I could have licked the plates, I would have! Outstanding place to eat and celebrate any occasion.

   Experience was nice. My only complaint would be about the overcooked meat inside the Beef Wellington. Beyond that, the meal was great for my first time visiting.

    We always have a great experience at Luka’s. Abe is a great chef and no matter what we order it is top notch! Also, the service is always above and beyond, so I recommend Lucas to anyone who wants great service and a great meal.
