Lumbre is a tribute to the abundance of Baja Sur. In the kitchen the main component is the product of its land and seas; the most powerful tool is firewood; and global techniques are the perfect complement to enhance its flavor, providing balance and personality. We work with local fishermen, ranchers, and farmer friends to find the best existing products.
NEAT, our Lounge Bar upstairs has the most exciting and cosmopolitan vibe in town for a great night of drinks and chill.The atmosphere separates and transmits a different vibe to the dining area. Chillout and Live Music on Sundays, signature mixology and a special finger food menu to accompany the moment and a pleasant chat.

    Good dinner, waiter spoke perfect English but we couldn’t understand a thing he said? Kind of funny. I like the food, my wife did not care for it. Everything had a smoky taste. Beautiful presentation.

    Lumbre exceeded all expectations during our visit! My wife and I enjoyed an unforgettable meal, starting with the bone marrow butter, shrimp tempura, clams, and burrata kale, each dish bursting with flavor and perfectly executed. The fire tower was a showstopper, offering an incredible variety of steak, octopus, and fish, all complemented by exceptional dipping sauces that elevated the experience even further. To top it all off, we indulged in the crème brûlée donut, which was nothing short of spectacular. The creativity and attention to detail at Lumbre truly make it stand out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and delectable dining experience!

    We have eaten in restaurants throughout the World - Paris, London, NYC, Istanbul, Tokyo, Singapore, and more. Many with one or more Michelin stars and without a doubt this little restaurant in San Jose Del Cabo can stand toe-to-toe with any of them. The food, the ambience, the music, the service are all AMAZING - we never miss a chance to visit this amazing little gem!!!
