   We had eaten at Lure, while on vacation in Santa Barbara a few weeks ago, and were told by our sweet waitress (Rosie)that there was a Lure in Scottsdale, where we were for a conference! We made a reservation and LOVED it, just like we LOVED the SB location! We had the most delicious sand dabs which were perfectly prepared!!! Our wonderful waitress in the Scottsdale location was Amber who was equally as sweet and attentive as Rosie! We look forward to experiencing Lure on our frequent trips to Scottsdale! Thanks so much for the yummy food and for hiring such kind, friendly and knowledgeable wait staff!!!

   Lure was a great dinner experience. We had a large booth for 7 people and was kid friendly. The fish was great quality and the oysters were awesome. Definitely will be back.

   Our party of 6 had a fabulous time at Lure. We had a terrific waiter who had a nice sense of humor and gracious patience. The food was outstanding, everyone loved their meals which included Seafood Louie, Swordfish, Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna, Tequila Lime Shrimp Pasta, Ahi Civiche. One diner thought the pasta dish was a little hot for his taste, but the other person who had it thought it was just right. We went early enough to catch happy hour and it was jammed, but thinned out a lot after that. We had a reservation so it was not a problem, but saw others were waiting for a table. Our visitors loved it and we already knew it was a delicious place to spend an evening.

   Another enjoyable evening with family. We love sharing with new people. The noise level was fine because we sat outside- the noise level walking through restaurant always reinforces my selection for outside

   This was our first visit to LFH and we like to eat late, so we deliberately scheduled the last available reservation of the day (8:30 on a Thursday). I mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday on the OpenTable website, as well as to our server. The food quality was excellent and we enjoyed every entree. But we were a little surprised to receive our check after our plates were cleared with no offer of dessert or after-dinner drinks. Several other tables were still occupied, but we paid and left knowing the risk of being rushed should we book another late reservation.

   I usually go to Lure a couple times a month, both in Scottsdale and other locations. The food and service is consistently good. The restaurant always appears clean and smells fresh. I am not a fan of their New England clam chowder. There’s just something about it. That doesn’t taste right. Further I don’t believe that bacon should be in clam chowder. Good clam chowder is about clams, not bacon. Also putting bacon in it ruins it for anyone that doesn’t eat pork or red meat.

   This is the second time dining at Lure and it’s a hit again. The cioppino was excellent. Everything including our cocktails were excellent. We now have a favorite server. Rose is the perfect blend of friendly and helpful. She checked on us regularly at the perfect moments and her kind smile is sincere. We will always sit where Rose is working.

    Once seated, our server took about 10 minutes to come to our table for drink orders. I ordered a margarita, which was excellent. To start, we ordered a dozen Blue Point oysters on the half shell which were delicious. For dinner, my mother-in-law ordered the Miso Salmon, which she greatly enjoyed. My wife ordered the swordfish with a lemon and caper seasoning which was very good. I ordered the Pacific white sea bass for $38 which was about the size of the palm of my hand--very small for the price and decent in taste but not great. We all ordered the New England clam chowder as a side which was good in taste but very liquidy--we like it thicker. Although I might return to Lure, I am in no hurry to do so.
