   We had a lovely Xmas Eve Dinner, this is now the 3rd year have Xmas dinner at Lussmans and it was perfect. Thank you to all the incredible friendly staff and the food was gorgeous. thank you

   Everything was great at Lussmans. It was a busy evening and the food was spot on and service attentive. We will be back.

   Having dined at Lussmans 4 or 5 times a year for the past 4 years both with friends and on our own, today was extremely disappointing. Our starters arrived reasonably quickly and our plates cleared promptly. That is when things started to go downhill. 20 minutes later we still had no main courses served, on two separate occasions by two different people we were told our dishes were being plated and would be out in 30 seconds. It took another 10 minutes for them to arrive along with some 'complimentary' french fries and two glasses of prosecco - none of which were wanted. Who wants prosecco after drinking red wine and gin and tonic? Not surprisingly we refused to pay the service charge after having to wait half an hour - only to be told by the manager 'actually it was 26 minutes' !! We have recommended Lussmans to many friends and family - but will not be doing so again, and we are unlikely to return ourselves.

   Our team had a wonderful work Christmas lunch at Lussmanns Hitchin today. It provided a lovely and relaxed atmosphere. Everybody loved their food and the staff were amazing. Can't wait to go back. There was a great selection on the menu - something for everyone. A big shout out for the sprout tops - we loved them. Thank you to the Lussmanns team.
