Located on the ground floor of the Tea Building in Shoreditch, Head Chef James Lowe brings together an established network of farmers and fisherman with his pared back, modern, British menu. The highly seasonal menu changes daily and is accompanied by an affordable wine list.
Lyle’s is a clean, quiet, and serene space offering lunch and dinner, as well as a drop in coffee bar. The minimalist design of the space makes the venue the ideal backdrop for any occasion. Lyle's was awarded a Michelin star in 2015.

Omg... I had only heard good things so I went with high expectations. I was amazed by everything- the whole experience from start to finish was amaaaaazing!!! Would def come back!!

Found Lyle’s through the world best restaurants dining website. It is highly rated amongst other TOP 50 World Best restaurants but the dishes are pale in comparison with other world best restaurants. The dishes are ordinary, it doesn’t wow us.

Lunch for two with four dishes, and two desserts to share... well, when we finished I was ready to start again. Delicious, tasty, light and clean flavor! Definitely to repeat. And lovely staff, too, they prepared twice our last dish (the amazing red deer) because it arrived when I was changing my little baby. Really appreciated, thanks!

Service was very good, and we specifically liked the bread! We shared 5 plates and 2 desserts amongst the 3 of us. The butter was good enough to eat on its own. We enjoyed the food and would go back again when passing through London.

I can just say every dishes were sour, no special cooking. The dishes were so small that we didn’t feel like eat something even we ordered 7 dishes. And actually the price are so expensive. The only good is their ingredients for the foods were very fresh. Won’t come back again

Excellent food at this restaurant on the World's Top 50 list. Every dish was outstanding and wines were also good.

The restaurant was very quiet when we started our meal (we were first sitting) yet other tables sometimes got their snacks before us. The menu changes daily, and sadly you cannot book on the day unless you are incredibly lucky (we booked in advance due to lack of availability). The daily menu included a couple of incredibly simple dishes, which could have still been amazing, but they did nothing special with them at all. All in all, decent experience, we finished the food, so it absolutely was not unpleasant, but it was not incredible food given the Michelin star. Expensive for what it is versus a lot of the other incredibly brilliant tasting menu style restaurants, with better food and cheaper price tag.

The food was outstanding, but too expensive. Also, it is not a comfortable place/chair to be seating for 2h and I was in an air current so cold all the time and got sick. Not the experience I was expecting for £150 for a couple.
