Menu is limited and very pricey. Ordered the duck ($155) but got less than half a breast , no sides, no veggies, bread extra. Plates that were used to serve duck spun on the table making it hard to use knife. Service was good but uniforms were very dated. Meal for 3 which included champagne was $610 before tip… we were still hungry upon leaving.

We ordered THE dish we came looking for ie the Pancake. We put the order just as we sat down and asked for it as a dessert. When the moment came… they told us they were out of it. Terrible service experience

Waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Service was very slow. Had to request server at least 3 times. They put a 4% Employee Wellness charge on the check which I asked to be removed. What in the world is that? They poured still and sparking water which I asked for tap. They charged $10 a bottle so $20 and they didn't leave the bottles nor did I order them. For a restaurant in a Four Seasons... it was terrible. I will never return.

Every course at the chef’s counter was a delight. Familiar items were elevated with novel ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and light. Classic wine pairing worked well with each course. Service was friendly and professional without being at all stuffy. Would recommend if you’re looking for a special occasion celebration or just a reason to have a really great fine dining experience.

Unfortunately, Maass really missed the mark this visit. The tables are under airvents that were blasting cold air and only got colder as time went on. When asked to turn them down we were told it was an engeneering problem yet from reading prior reviews it seems to be an ungoing issue that they cannot get under control. The air vents also really disguisting and dirty which is right over your table and food. They need to be clean daily and should never look like that. Service was very poor to start out. The waiter knew nothing about the dishes when questioned about the menu and made stuff up. After our first course we could no longer take the cold and asked to be moved (but there were no other tables) at this point we were ready to cancel the rest of our meal and leave. Luckily there was a table outside for us to move to finish our meal. While the outdoor service was a great improvement from inside the previous waiter never turned in one order so two of us were eating our meals and the third was not. They quickly prepared the dish wish came out looking very unappetizing, a steak cut in halh that was rare on one half and medium well on the other. Managment did make it right and comped some things which was very much appreciated, however, this was not the experience or quality of service that we came for or that one expects from a Four Seasons property and restaurant of this calibur. Weve always had good experiences here but the past couple of times there seems to be changes going on with the quality of the food, cutting menu items and different staff which has not been for the better. It will be a while before we go back if ever.

The food was amazing - that's for sure - but I thought a few things could be improved especially considering the price. First thing is we were sitting inside on the right side of the bar looking towards the ocean. There's a door that goes out to the patio - this door does not close softly and slams shut - the patio has seating which is great -but because this door is used so much you constantly heard the door slamming. Also - the wine. We're pretty into wine - nobody once offered for a sommelier to come out and review the wines with us and the server just didn't know that much. She tried but it's not the same. Once we did order it it took a bit to come out. Also - the wine glasses they brought us looked like something pretty cheap. The glasses themselves were thick glass and not shaped that well - something you would expect at a bar where they don't serve much wine. We actually did notice they had Zaltos (we use them at home) and actually asked for them....Then the server only brought the nicer glasses to 2 of the 4 people drinking the wine - it was very weird and uncomfortable to have to ask again so we didn't. I think this can all be summed up into service but there are some things I think the restaurant just needs to upgrade - AKA fix the door and upgrade their glasses - so the servers don't have to compensate. As for would I eat here again - probably not. The food was really great - but with all the other things - the experience was not worth what the cost of the meal was and there are so many other places that have both amazing food and great service.
