   One of the BEST burgers we've ever had!!! However, the fries need some work. They're good, but not elevated at all.

   Food was great but we waited 45 minutes for our brunch order to come out and had to ask for our coffee to be served 25 minutes in. There was only one server for the place, and a large party of 12 that took up half the restaurant was seated right next to us. We felt forgotten much of the time. My latte was gone by the time my breakfast arrived, and I asked for a coffee refill and was told I would be charged for it, so I passed. Very nice people, very good food. Maybe the slow service and I attentiveness was an outlier...?

   My birthday brunch was impeccable. The setting is quite quaint and aesthetically pleasing with small details throughout. The biscuits and gravy, Dutch baby and shrimp and grits were flavorful and plentiful. Lastly, the customer service was genuinely attentive and helpful. I’m looking forward to returning in the near future.

   Enjoyed it thoroughly!! Lovely music and well prepared food. The chef really understood how to use herbs and spice. The octopus might be the best I ever had! Thank you, Mabu!

   This was our third time dining - 2nd time for brunch. The menu is rich with a range of options and the food is always executed to perfection. Service is friendly and the vibe is warm and relaxing. Excellent neighborhood gem.

   The atmosphere is lovely and food is good. Know that this is a small place which takes its table time limits seriously, and that you will be asked to leave after 90 minutes or so on the weekend.

   This was our second Sunday brunch at Mabu, it certainly will not be our last. The hostess and server, Julie, was as welcoming and efficient as last time. The French press coffee can’t be beat, with a large pot brought to your table, and you press it yourself, guaranteeing freshness. The menu is appetizing, and portions more than adequate. American standards, like biscuits and gravy, are given a European flair, as with mild Italian sausage added to the normal southern – styled gravy. The chicken and waffles, another American standard, was absolutely delicious, since the waffle was Belgian style, fluffier, and lighter and most. A small restaurant it fills up fast for brunch, so reservations are well advised.
