   We had to reschedule our booking without any issues. Maitre d’ ( Greek guy) was very welcoming and friendly. He helped us with our meat selection which was cooked to our preference. He offered us some local digestive drinks we had not tried before as what we initially wanted was not available. We would have been given more stars if it was not so expensive. Overall very good experience.

   Extremely satisfied with our dinner at Macellaio Soho. Even better than the first time I went. The waiters are very knowledgeable. The food is great. You can tell from the moment you step into the restaurant that this is the place for excellent steaks and they do deliver. Much, much, much recommended. Will go back again very soon.

   Fantastic food and service; got a complimentary brownie for my husbands birthday. We absolutely love it. Staff is caring and friendly! Will definitely be back :)

   Food was excellent.. location of table could have been better.. ( to near the door). Spent a lot of money .. but was overcharged £40. Best to check your bills.

   When you Pay £100 à pièce of an excellent meat you intend to have a bootle of coke open in front of you, not just a glass as it was, you intend to get either a bootle of natural water or a jug of tap water but you should have the choice. We had a very good experience but we were sad to be treated as in a banal restaurant. Thanx anyway.

   We arrived on time and were not greeted so we stood waiting by the door for 10mins. I had to get the hosts attention and ask if we could get a drink by the bar. By the time we were seated we waited some time before someone came over. We ordered a bottle of wine and two bottles of still water, and 2kg of Wagyu Fiorentina, the waiter wasn’t sure if they had any and said he would check. He returned some time later with the bottle of wine and no glasses, and said he would get the wine glasses. Sometime later he had no returned and he was serving other tables and taking payments so I asked a female staff member for the wine glasses and the still water. She said they could not find any wine glasses and can she get his the beer glasses, I said this was fine. He soon returned with the wine glasses and she came back with what appeared to be tap water. I told her we ordered bottled still water and she said this is still water. I let that go. So we had our water and our wine. Sometime later our food arrived cooked. The steak did not taste like wagyu so I raised the question at the end if our meat was wagyu because the waiter did not return to confirm if they had any wagyu Fiorentina remaining, and didn’t bring the meat to show us before cooking which is what usually happens in steak restaurants. We were also not offered any bread with their beef dripping butter which is what they usually serve prior to our dinner. So overall a disappointing experience from a restaurant I have enjoyed previously

   Good meat, but everything else was not up to the standard and especially for the prices they have. From the ambience to the other type of food or the service, everything was average (and the roast potatoes were very bad).

    Great experience, even had a surprise cake at the end to congratulate me for my graduation it was lovely. Little problem with the wine that was a bit too hot, but great experience and good food.
