Welcome to MACELLAIO RC SOUTH KENSINGTON, kingdom of the Italian Fassona beef and the first butchery-restaurant opened in London.

Macellaio RC is a growing family of three Italian restaurants in London.
Our restaurants are most famous for its fine steak. In fact, Macellaio means "butcher" and we like to call our steakhouses the butchery with tables. The steak we serve is exclusively from the Fassona beef breed, sourced from special mountain valleys in the north of Genoa.

We take pride in sourcing incredible authentic Italian ingredients, food with utmost respect, preparing it with love, and expertly cooking each dish bringing to life a delightful trattoria dining experience.

Great restaurant to eat meat with an Italian twist. The decor is contemporary but you are at ease with it, even if you are a traditional people. Prices are in line with the high quality but it is not too expensive .

I went with my wife for her birthday. Staff was extremely welcoming. Food was amazing. We ordered Lardo with bread, Carpaccio all’italiana, steak with roasted potatoes and carrots and two dessert chocolate cake and rose apple with salted caramel syrup which were not on the menu. Amazing; and great price for the quality of the food.

Always a pleasure visiting here, especially when after the best steak in a unique and relaxed environment. Today we shared a 1.1 kg Fiorentina between 4 accompanied by tomatoes salad, spaghetti with tomato and basil and broccoli, having had bone marrow, anchovies on toast, and carpaccio with rocket and reggiano to start. Our hostess, Sophia, was first class, bubbly, knowledgeable, and kind (even to our 2 small pooches). Await my next protein fix and will def be back 💯🙏🏾🫶🏾
