The iconic Liberty House Restaurant has been reimagined as Maddy Rose. Boasting unsurpassed views of the NYC skyline, Ellis Island, Lady Liberty and Liberty Landing Marina, Maddy Rose at Liberty House, located in Jersey City, is one of the most iconic NJ restaurants.

The Mediterranean inspiration just isn’t touched on in the design elements but also throughout the menu. Our food is highly crafted to make you feel that you could be on the beaches of Greece or Italy dining al fresca. Our menu is filled with large shareable plates and state of the art tableside productions. To match the food menu, our Beverage program is unmatched in Jersey City with highly curated cocktails in some of the most unique glassware available. Large format drinks and bottle service are the norm for our day to nighttime experiences.

The Maddy Rose team made this such a memorable birthday celebration for my mom - thank you! (This is our second year in a row celebrating with you and we are so grateful - she adores your restaurant.) Compliments to the chef - everything was delicious. As well, special thank yous to the woman who greeted us when we first came in the door and the hostess who then assisted us. They were fabulous. Service was great!! I loved the attention to detail! It was a birthday celebration loved the personal touch of having the menu personalized. Loved the skyline view only wish we were seated closer.

Aaron our waiter was the absolute best!! Could not have asked for a better birthday experience/service. Both him and the staff were very attentive and ensured we were taken care of the whole time. The live music during brunch was definitely a treat! Would highly recommend!!

My second time coming here, first time I came alone when I was house school shopping, today I took my girlfriend. And just an amazing time. The biggest compliment from my girl “ this is our spot, I want to come here every month”

Nice and comfortable interiors. Stayed in because of the cold weather. But also walked through the outdoor area - I can imagine having a good time dining outside as well. Great view of the Manhattan skyline, seating areas with fire pits, interesting sculptural art pieces that are picture-worthy.

Our server Anthony and the hosts were so friendly and attentive. Came for a quick nibble- got the calamari and Greek salad. Both SO delicious and unique. Also, can’t beat the view!

The receptionist granted my request to be seated with a good view. Our waiter, Miguel, was so attentive and the food was all delicious. We enjoyed the Sangrua.

This is our first time here in a few years, and it used to be our go-to place when in the area. It was a disappointing evening. We should have realized something was up when we walked in and the bar was empty as were some tables-this was never the case any other time we have been there. The restaurant is participating in a Tiki Christmas Pop-Up, and while it was fun, I was told at first that no other cocktails were available; the Pop-Up cocktail list was the only one available. I had to press to get something else. Onto the food: The best thing we had was the Caesar Salad. We also got the hot shrimp appetizer. The shrimp were well cooked but had little flavor. We shared the Ribeye, and first off, it was noticeably smaller than our friend's portion and was overcooked and tough. I had alerted them that it was my husband's birthday, and instead of a piece of cake, which is what most places do, they printed him out a copy of their menu with "Happy Birthday Jack" rolled up in a scroll. lol. Then, they threw out our bones and scraps, which we planned to give to the dog. Overall, the service was very attentive and good, but not much else.
