   Our Christmas Eve dinner at Maggie's was disappointing. The restaurant itself is cozy, clean, and has a great atmosphere. The food smelled wonderful, which raised our expectations. We ordered the $75 steak featured on the menu for the evening, but it turned into a struggle to cut a piece with a steak knife. It was difficult to cut and even more challenging to chew. The steak, which came with mashed potatoes and corn, did not meet our expectations for that price. Perhaps I was just unlucky with my selection. My wife felt sorry for me and gave me half of her salmon.

   Simply amazing! We had the best Christmas dinner at Maggie’s. The warm and intimate space was cosy, cocktails were delicious and the food was the best we have had in a whole US holiday so far.

   Christmas dinner. Small place with cozy atmosphere. Food was very good. You could tell the chief take pride in his work. A little cramped but that did not affect the experience. I would recommend when in S Lake Tahoe
