   I had a great experience here. I went around 11am so no one was there really. Our service was great, food was prompt, drinks were good. Some of the seating was a little different, I asked to move from high top table cuz it was slick and so was my dress, so I kept sliding lol they moved us no problem. They had violinist like Bridgeton playing too. Our server Alexis was really sweet. I liked that the menu had venue information on there so if you wanted to plan a bday party or something, you already know the price.

   When I noticed that the River Terrace had re-opened, I was excited to try it when I was going to be in Memphis for Christmas. I was thrilled that I could get a table on Dec 26, to celebrate my 60th birthday. The last time I dined at the restaurant was in December of 1999, for New Year's Eve. Prior, I was part of the original staff that opened the restaurant in 1982. It was great to see the place re-modeled, re-furbished, and thriving. The view is among the very best in the city. The food was excellent. I had the Blacked Catfish...WOW! The service was very good. I had a nice conversation with the manager and shared a few memories about the old place. I highly recommend Mahagony River Terrace.

   The service was impeccable but my collard greens was too salty. My server changed my greens with Mac & cheese and I was very pleased. The ambiance is breathtaking sitting by the river it’s so peaceful. The Valet attendants are very Professional, Courteous, and kind. I felt safe and comfortable.    This was not a good visit! The service was not the best. The young lady literally disappeared for s minute. We then had to wait to order, and then everything we wanted was not available.

   I waited 15 minutes before anyone came to table to ask if I needed anything. My Sister waited 10 minutes before anyone asked her if she was helped. She was told very casually Your party is upstairs after several workers passed by her without an acknowledgement. This was my 3rd time here, Food was good but I'm very skeptical with returning based on CS, that's the reason I don't go to the One on Poplar. Rudest CS ever

   I celebrated my Birthday and Chan our serever made my experience very pleasant. She had great energy and was knowledgeable about the food and drinks. She was very attentive.

    Our bartender made our experience much better. We didn’t like the chair in the white bar area and we requested to move. They didn’t have any tables available. So we were told we could sit upstairs at the bar. I’m so glad we did. The best experience. Shan took care of us as we celebrate our friendship. She was quick to respond to our every need. The food took a while to get but it was freshly made and it seasoned to perfection. The drinks and food was 10 out of 10.
