Maiella, a casually elegant restaurant located in the picturesque waterfront section of Long Island City, serves authentic Italian dishes with a modern flare and the freshest ingredients. Maiella sits at the base of the iconic Pepsi sign in Gantry State Park, and features spectacular city views. Designed by a leading New York City Architecture firm, Bluarch, the rustic space features seating for up to 180 guests inside and almost 100 guests in the outdoor terrace. The terrace faces Manhattan and Gantry State Park with views of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and the 80 foot tall Pepsi Sign. Inquire about our private dining rooms as well as larger parties.

                                                    Terrible service server ignored us most of the time, had a bad attitude, and we had to ask the manager to get the check, then wait another 15 minutes for the server to run the card. Food was solid but absolutely not going back tons of other better restaurants in the area.

Dined on ravioli stuffed with braised beef & cheese w/chunky tomato sauce, also chicken parmesan. Our salads were amazing. I had green market salad perfectly dressed & partner had arugula salad, perfectly dressed. I wanted a specially made drink & they followed my instructions. Delicious! Our new fine dining place. Only issue, wish the parking situation was more convenient.

                                                    Our 3rd time at Maiella and this will be probably the last. Food was a little mediocre, not as great as before. Wait staff service was good but hostess’ rudeness and lack of experience ruined the vibe. There are many better options in the area.
