The little French bistro you always wished was just around the corner is here. Maison Bleue is the brainchild of Sandy and John Vizzone, owners of The Hugh B&B, along with partner Executive Chef Anthony Depasquale.

Together, they have created a stylish—and delicious—interpretation of a classic French bistro. Like The Hugh, Maison Bleue is a perfect concoction of flair, verve, and intimacy.

We will also be announcing a New Year's Eve Special Menu very soon!

    My husband and I have been to Maison Blueu many times, and we have always loved it. The setting is gorgeous (both inside and on the porch). The service is excellent (ask for Dottie). We both ordered the local scallops last night. There were seven beautifully seared scallops in a yummy sauce served alongside perfectly cooked carrots and potatoes. We skipped dessert last night, but we always enjoy their crème brûlée. We love that this little gem is also a BYOB. It is intimate and classy, and you will leave saying “that was lovely from start to finish.”

    What a lovely French restaurant in The Hughes B&B. We enjoyed the early dinner pre-fixe special & we were not disappointed. There were 3 choices for 1st & 2nd courses & 2 dessert selections. Everything we ate was delicious & was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Anna was a wonderful server. Thank you for being open during the off-season.

    The restaurant is nice but I think it’s a little over priced for the quality you are getting. First the good, the foie gras sausage in the cassoulet was very good! The filet mignon didn’t taste like a prime cut and was dry and over cooked from what was requested. The waitress agreed (regarding doneness) and was very accommodating but the chef sent it back to me to basically say that we were wrong (!). At this point we just ate it not to make trouble but I thought this gesture rather rude. Overall we had a nice enough dinner and the waitress comped us dessert for the mishap but we thought overall this place is overpriced considering quality received.
