   We had a really great time at makers union. Food was delicious and they had live music going which was amazing! If you are in the Reston town center this place is a must!!!

   I imagine the restaurant gets louder if it's full, we were lucky to enjoy a pretty quiet early brunch. With a booking, they were able to handle a large group, and our server was great at handling menu tailoring. Great to see multiple zero proof drink options on a brunch menu!

   Coming in with a reservation, we were seated right away, but the hostess handed us only lunch menus during brunch time. Then, it was as if we didn’t exist for 20 minutes, no water, greeting staff member, nobody asking for our drink orders, nothing. Once the staff member who served us came, he apologized that the person who was supposed to take care of us was running around with other tables (it wasn’t that busy). After that, service and food were good, no complaints there, but we were so close to getting up and leaving. Good we weren’t in a rush.

   We went for a brunch on a Sunday. A decent place and the menu was pretty good. However, my food came out cold, the water for the tea was not hot enough, and my crab cake benedict had way too little crab cake. Probably not a go for me for brunch next time.

    Great experience for a New Years Day celebration have brunch and enjoy acoustic guitar performer. We had their expression martini and blood Mary; both were yummy. We had reservations but wait was longer than usual so we ended up seated at the bar which was fine too. They were slammed busy but still enjoyed the good and service. I have been here a couple of other times and always enjoyed it. I look toward to return but next time not on a holiday.
