Maki-Zushi in Tustin, CA provides some quality Japanese cuisine. As you might guess from the name, it also happens to have some fantastic sushi options. You can enjoy some of the premium sushi options including Bluefin tuna, needle fish, flying fish, Spanish mackerel and more. Maki-Zushi has popular sushi rolls, too. The unagi spring roll, volcano roll and the popcorn lobster roll are excellent choices. Be sure to check out some of the appetizers at Maki-Zushi, too. You can enjoy half shell oysters, seafood nachos, crispy rise, salmon skin salad, udon, gyoza, sesame chicken and baked mussels. It is the ideal place to go when you are craving Japanese fare.

Sushi and sashimi was good. Lacked a good selection of wine and spirits which was disappointing. With a lot of sushi selection in Orange County, this one is average at best.

Was having some back luck finding a sushi place to knock our socks off that wasn't too far from our house ..gave this one a try and I'd say it was pretty good! Definitely not my favorite sushi place but we are for sure going to come back to try more rolls and find our favorites! It wasn't super busy in there (not sure I even needed to reserve a table) and the food came out very quickly. My only criticisms are that it was a little expensive for what it was I think .. and it did have a very strong fish odor.

Well, the service was very slow and the food was not so good. We went as a larger party and the food came sporatically, some of the party were done with their meal while others were still waiting for their food. The food from the kitchen was dry and overcook. Maybe its the holidays and the chief was on vacation. I was really disappointed in the quality of the food.

Moving from L.A. we were concerned about finding a good sushi bar. We found one better than our favorite one in L.A. Plus, it's within walking distance from home. Fish is fresh, rolls are creative and everyone treats us well.

Food is is usually good - it's a good go-to location near my office and I've never been disappointed in the sushi or the bento boxes. The teriyaki is served almost "fajita-style". Unexpected and not welcomed. Solid experience, I will return, good value.
