Manzú is a restaurant, designed to remind us of the palm-thatched huts where the ancient Chorotegans used to live. It offers a relaxed ambiance set by the warm, salty breeze from the sea and the modern twist of an open kitchen.

Enjoy our international menu with traditional Tico recipes passed down from generation to generation with our chef’s own twist, all made with fresh, local ingredients and recipes.     Expensive, we order meet and it was not cooked to the point we asked for and the meat was tough.

    I made a reservation for my girlfriends birthday. We arrived and had a perfect table in the sand, candles lit. The view was exceptional but not as much as the service. Constant attention and professionalism by the waiters. Food was sensational, not to much but great taste and detail. Server named JOSE, if ai remember correctly, was always looking at me so I could gove him the right moment to bring the birthday cake. We had time to go walk on the beach with our drinks between the services, which was great. Overall, 10/10. Best restaurant in Santa Teresa hands down and made my experience in Costa Rica even better.

    We got there at our reservation time and did not realize we were between lunch and dinner. we ordered appetizers that were on both menus and drinks at the recommendation of the server which took at minimum 30min to come out. It took at least 20min for any drinks to come out throughout the service, and the food was fine. We just felt very ignored even if it is meant to be a slower pace.

    Great food and service and the view of the beach is beautiful. It’s at one of the most special hotels in Santa Teresa.

    Restaurant is right on the beach. Spent 4 days at Nantipa and tried other restaurants. Nothing was as good as Manzu. Best food by far. Service was excellent. Get there for the fantastic sunsets overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
