   Hate to write this since this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. But the level of class goes down every time I visit. We’ve been coming in since the restaurant opened and have recommended Maple to many friends and family. On Saturday night my wife and I had a reservation. Everything was fine until I got my drink and had a 2 inch piece of glass in my mouth. Told the waitress, she got me another drink and everything was fine she apologized. I just was surprised that a manager did not come over once during the meal to apologize which I thought was classless especially at a “upscale” restaurant. But they didn’t take the drink off the bill. Other than that the clientele was extremely gheeettto on Saturday which isn’t a vibe when trying to be in Scottsdale.

   I hate a great time, my server was very nice. I unfortunately don’t remember her name 😭. Food was great. Host was also nice she complimented my outfit

   Unfortunately not a great dining experience. It was my anniversary and we splurged on an expensive dinner. A few people had recommended Maple & Ash. The ambience is great and our server Dillon was excellent. However the food was just mid. We got the octopus appetizer was just ok but the most disappointing part was the 8oz filet I ordered medium rare plus. It came out rare but was so chewy and just not good. In fact, it was the worst filet I've ever had and it cost $72. I was not interested in another one and it was just very disappointing. The sides were just mid as well. I would not go back here as it way too expensive for the value! Also a manager never came over to address the horrible steak and in restaurant of this level that is very poor service.

   Came here for our wedding anniversary. Best experience ever! Food drinks service exceeded our expectations! Thank you for making our anniversary celebration perfect!

   Absolutely horrid. Emailed the company of course no response. But I will let everyone know that maple and ash isn’t what it used to be. Now it’s just overpriced nasty food with stuck up wait staff. Our food was inedible. The bread the sea bass the new Brussels. All disgusting. We didn’t eat we paid and left. And shouldn’t have paid. I’ll never be back. Coming from someone who came every month. Never ever again. This was the second bad experience in a row.

   Everything was great food, service , ambience , until I received the bill with a line item “staff benefits” and it was part of the total tab , which meant it assumed I would tip on it, which is unacceptable in my opinion and left a very bad taste in my mouth. One thing to show me a charge for your internal burden costs and it’s even more disturbing it would be part of the totals tab, thus the 15% gratuity vs a typical 20%. A little inoculation on this would have gone a long way

Our Staff Benefits charge helps cover health insurance, benefits, and staff wellness programs for the team, and we break the cost out separately for transparency rather than build it into the menu price like most restaurants do. That fee does not go toward the service team's pay. But any tip you leave is discretionary, and we are sorry we didn't explain the fee better for you.    I wanted the reviews to be wrong so bad 😩 but maple & ash is overrated/overpriced. My bone marrow had no marrow and was unfortunately filled with just the toppings to cover up the empty bone. The portions are also much smaller than higher end restaurants like Wren & Wolfe, Eddie V’s even Ocean 44, Definitely not shareable. Not sure if they raised the prices due to Mother’s Day but the price of everything was significantly different then what was online so we ended up spending about $125 more than what we calculated. ( we already knew the menu & what we were going to order) our server was excellent didn’t catch his name but he was great. I actually cancelled my Mother’s Day reservation for NOBU to come to maple&ash and I’m sadly disappointed. Probably won’t be back and it’s simply because the $500 price tag for two people wasn’t worth it AT ALL. Mind you I’ve spent less and got more and had an overall better experience at the above mentioned restaurants. Sorry Guys for the negative BUT honest review.

   Great food and excellent service. We asked for something modified and they made it happen! Obvi a little pricey but we wanted to celebrate and they didn’t disappoint!
