   Had a great time at Marcus Bar & Grille. Service was excellent and food was so good. We had the cornbread to start, and for my entree I had the lamb chops with a side of broccolini. My friends enjoyed their dishes too - the seafood Piccadilly, rib eye, and macaroni all excellent. Can’t wait to try it again!

   Party of 6, ordered shareables , Cornbread was tasty, one was dryer then the other, Deviled eggs heavy mustard, Wagyu burgers dry, asked for mayo “informed they don’t have any”. The base of the garlic aioli is a mayo base. Salmon was dry and overcooked, ask for another piece. Fried chicken was moist waffle was good. Fish and grits was good. Drinks were great. The music was great, attention to detail in surroundings superb, attention to food service needs attention. Our table was directly in front of the line.

   Our group of 6 (women ages 42-78 years old) really enjoyed our first experience here. We were seated quickly, which included accommodations for a wheel chair. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly. We were happy the music wasn’t loud… we could hear it, but could hear each other clearly with a normal speaking tone. We will return!!

   I've dinned at this restaurant many times in an attempt to give it a fair chance as it changed chefs and managers over the past year. I will say first and foremost, I've always had great attentive service. I've dinned solo and with groups and the service has always been the highlight of my dining experience. That said, I've struggled with the quality of the food over the past year. It's never consistent and ALWAYS too salty. I don't understand the need to over salt food in any restaurant but particularly this restaurant given it's a Soul Food restaurant and unfortunately Soul Food already has a poor reputation for being too salty, too greasy, and too sweet. In the case of Marcus Bar & Grille, the food is consistently too salty and that's a shame. As someone who has dinned at several Marcus Samuelsson restaurants, my favourite being Red Rooster in Harlem, I'm simply disappointed with Marcus Bar and Grille. Atlanta deserves better.

   We had a party of eight we seated quickly and the service was amazing and the food was unbelievable. I would definitely return. I would love to come when it’s not a buffet, but the food was still Chef’s kiss.

   Everything was ok but our seating was TERRIBLE right in front of the buffet line and the people crowded around the table while we eat and had to keep moving the chair..

    A friend and I made a reservation but decided to enjoy the quick service provided at the bar. The experience was off to a good start, including complimentary drinks due to the extended wait time. The salmon portion was a bit small but well cooked. However, customers were not reminded that the establishment is cashless. The bartender serving at the time was irritated with a customer carrying cash and allowed his frustration to pour over into our dining experience. He shared sarcastic comments and presented a rude demeanor. This changed the trajectory of our evening.
