   I went to Margo for New Year's Eve with high hopes since I have had pleasant experiences there in the past. I booked online and selected "standard dining" instead of the set menu, but upon arrival, I was informed that I could not order from the standard menu and had to choose from the set menu instead. I understand that many restaurants offer set menus for New Year's Eve, but it was misleading to have the option for "standard dining" available through OpenTable. If I had known this beforehand, I would not have made the reservation. Additionally, our server did not attend to us at all. We had to continuously call her over for service. Ultimately, we ended up sending our main courses back after barely taking two bites from each plate. It was not worth it at all, and I left feeling very upset. I will not be coming back.

   Cod fish was bland and tasteless. Feta cheese tasted odd. 4 course meal and the only good thing was dessert.

   I have never written a negative review on opentable/ google/ trip advisor. But my experience at Margo wasnt good. I understand King west has many big named restaurants and Margo stand along with the same confederacy. Its Sister restaurant Pink sky - has flawless team from the moment you step in, until you sit down and served, they leave an indelible mark and you keep going back. In Margo’s case, every second in the restaurant had mean staff members with no idea what they are even talking about, each of them lacked finesse and touch of hospitality verbiage that they should have. Upon requesting multiple times to the servers, the head hostess who certainly was god sent they changed our table. There was some confusion with prix fixe menu, however the server was kind and understanding to not give us that as we had not booked under a prix fixe forefront. Rest all the crew members seemed very attitude forward, upon eye contact instead of acknowledging the clapping of the eye with a smile/ happy new year, they just didnt seemed right. Food was average, mushroom kosheri hardly had any truffle, certainly for the truffle it was ordered , but i didnt raise any issues, i just quietly ate my meal as the restaurant was busy. Honestly im not here for instagram or social media, im at the restaurant for a great experience from the culinary flair to a true food and beverage service. Unfortunately margo, just lacked each avenues of the checklist. If my review is read through, i will appreciate the acknowledgement. Thank you.

   Our waiter Daniel was outstanding by being so polite and accommodating in every way possible. He made our dinner experience extra special!

   I’ve been to Margo several times now, and I can honestly say that the service has been great each time. You can tell that the servers work together to ensure that everyone has a great experience. The servers have all been very professional, and the food is amazing.

   It was a last minute reso and the team was able to accommodate flawlessly. Food was amazing, the broccolini was slightly overcooked but still delicious. The steak with cooked perfectly, wish I knew there was an accompanying chimichurri (?) hiding behind the bone. Our server (can’t remember his name) was amazing and attentive without being overwhelming. My only con of the evening was a staff member kept trying to clear our mains when we still were clearly eating. But overall a great experience.

   The restaurant is extremely beautiful with a great ambiance. Servers were keen on detail and understood the menu to a great degree. Was also very kind and willing to guide us through the menu! Overall, a great experience!
