   My husband’s birthday and we got beautiful sunset on the water view. We had lobster and it was very good. The restaurant was beautiful the waiters , workers seemed out of it not with us. Waiter spilled wine by accident on my daughter did give a free cheesecake and said this is all I can do . I was worried they forgot it was my husband’s birthday so I asked again to bring dessert sing happy birthday to him we as a family did . The service needs improvement so like whatever mentality.

   Me and a friend orders the same meal . My mine came out first and it was cold! My friend food came out 30 minutes later which was outrageous. Serve was rude when she asks if she can pour my water . Don’t think I’ll ever to back there Views and ambiance was beautiful that’s all I can say .

   The service was way too slow. The food was not a 4 star experience. Vegetables weren’t cooked the different sauces on the pasta and lobster dishes were too sweet. The steak was very bland.

   Love it! Went for the first time for my bday. Service was great! Recommend going during sunset because the views are amazing!

   Wouldn’t recommend: Firstly the cost doesn’t match up with the taste the food is mid and the cost is wayy too high for such a size plus taste. Secondly, the aesthetic is not it…. The place is wayy too dark when it’s night time and there’s no where to take actual pictures so take your pics before you get there. Lastly I can give it to them that their juices are top tier one of the best fruit juices you will definitely get from them. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re on a budget.

   I was so disappointed by my visit to Marguerites because this was the highlight of my trip I’d been looking forward to. Beginning with the service, our server was not at all pleasant, the cocktail server however was very sweet! Now let’s get into the food, we ordered Caesar salad and crab cakes for apps, the website and menu both highlight that the Caesar salad was prepared tableside, it was not. The greens were not fresh and they brought the plate from the kitchen. Crab cakes were alright but definitely not the best. For my entree I ordered the surf and turf which is filet mignon and scallops, when my plate was brought it had lobster and what very obviously was not filet mignon. When I brought this to the attention of the server she told me that I didn’t specify summer surf and turf and surf and turf…. Literally makes no sense I ordered SURF AND TURF FROM THE MENU. So she brought me a plate with 3 small scallops to correct her error. Now to this weird filet mignon, I had to SAW it, second red flag. When I took a bite I immediately knew it was beef tenderloin, I waved the server down and told her that again, this is not what I ordered, she irritably told me she’s bringing me the menu… as if I didn’t know what I ordered??? When she brings the menu she brings the manager as well, who confusingly inspected my plate as I pointed out on the menu exactly what I ordered. These people were really trying to gaslight me into saying I ordered the wrong thing, like no I didn’t!!!!!!! The menu said filet mignon and scallops and I was brought lobster and beef tenderloin. The gentleman then takes my plate and knife and leaves. He comes back 5 minutes later and asks if I want something else, I told him I wanted my filet mignon and scallops, then he tells me they’re out of filet mignon…. So instead of telling me from the beginning yall were out yall tried to act as if I didn’t know what I was talking about? I declined a new meal, got my check and left. They didn’t apologize.

   A group of 12 people celebrated my 40th birthday at the restaurant. My reservation was at 8 pm and we were not seated until 9. The waiter was terrible, he took orders wrong, and didn’t take the table drink order. We had to ask order drinks and the waiter ordered the drinks wrong as well. My group spent almost 1,000.00 dollars and I didn’t receive a birthday piece of cake nor were we asked if we wanted dessert. Everyone in my group was so frustrated at the service and had to pay a lot in Gratuity to a waiter who was awful.

   We understand it was a celebratory day: V-Day, so generally we would anticipate a slight delay in service given the volume of patrons that would be present; but almost 2 hours to be served was a bit much for us. The food, however, was excellent. We were a party of 4 and we each ordered something different and all our entrees across the board were excellent in presentation, taste, and temperature. We ordered the famed caesar salad; we were extremely disappointed! It had a slight sweet flavor to the dressing. Not sure why that was, but that was our least favorite of the night. The service was EXTREMELY SLOW, the service was mediocre……so the value naturally was not there for the experience we had. But again, the food excellent!

    The ambiance was perfect and the service was professional. The food was excellent as well. We made reservations for an anniversary celebration and it did not disappoint. One comment, on the bill it included a 15% gratuity however we were then informed that was for the kitchen and bar staff, giving the hint that perhaps a little more tip was expected. This was the only part that felt awkward in an otherwise tremendous experience.
