This traditional restaurant opened its doors in 2009 as a tribute to our grandmother Maria Corona, born in Mexico City in 1917. The history of the Corona family is extremely interesting, dates from the time of the General Ramon Corona who, during the French intervention played a fundamental role in the fall of the Emperor Maximilian. This restaurant is the guardian of the traditional techniques of mestizo cuisine, with flavors and recipes dating back to the times of the Mexican Independence until the beginning of the twentieth century. Dedicated to our grandmother Maria Corona born in 1916 in Mexico City, here you will find her traditional recipes along with her cooking secrets as they’ve been handed down from generation to generation. Overpriced food…better places in town for authentic mexican food. Used to be quite the experience but now just trying to compete on price. Skip it! Disappointed as use to go there for 20 years

This restaurant was a special surprise. We didn't know anything about it when we selected it on Christmas Day, but the food, service, ambiance and drinks were all exceptional. I highly recommend trying the Enchiladas and the Carne Asada, which were both top notch. The live entertainment was a bit loud but very impressive to watch. Overall a great experience.

The food here is fantastic, this was our second visit. As it was Christmas, there was a fun and lively stage show with entertainers and dancers. The kitchen seemed to have some issues and it took quite a while to get our appetizers and food. But it was worth the wait. Margaritas are spectacular! Table side guacamole and queso fundido are worth getting as well.

We had a great experience overall and will be back! We were here for Christmas dinner with a reservation and they just weren't staffed enough to handle the amount of folks dining. Just to get drinks took 25 minutes. Also, there was a couple letting their young children run around and one threw a toy car across that just barely missed my husband's head and no one said anything to them (this was going on for 40+ min). The entertainment was super fun, our waiter was very friendly and apologetic about the wait and the food was amazing. We will absolutely be back but maybe not on a holiday.

The ambiance is beautiful. Drinks are always good. Just a little slow in getting the first drink. Came with our food order. The show was impressive and enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

Local selections were very good - great signature cocktails. Wonderful ambiance and entertainment. Food was good except for the filet, but our waiter was very glad to hear our feedback. Was cooked to perfection, just a little tough for a filet. Shrimp with sauces were superb! Great local experience.

It was incredible as always but there was a large table of loud Americans whose noise prohibited us from hearing the singer.

Loved our dinner experience at Maria Corona this year! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a fantastic show featuring dancers and a great juggler. Food was outstanding!
